Sherman Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 I'm not sure how to find this but I don't think they have ever won a game televised on Vs. Can someone else help find that info?
MidwestSabresFan Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 I'm not sure how to find this but I don't think they have ever won a game televised on Vs. Can someone else help find that info? Yes... 2006 playoffs, after the lockout... the series against Ottawa, it was a shootout in Ott, traded 5 goals each before Drury scored for Buffalo in OT. Thats the biggest I remember, there has to be more.
CUPBEFOREIDIE Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Nice porn stash Kennedy! What a terrible play to get man-handled by a 40+ year old veteran. You suck! This is a team full of weak, soft forwards. The power play is embarassing. When Mike Greer is your best forward, there is a definite problem. And no Vanek wouldn't change a thing. Stick a fork in this sorry ###### crew! My tickets will be on stub hub tonight. This is not band wagon chatter. I have been a season ticket holder for 23 years. Same crap, different year.

Give me a break. At least Kennedy was showing some hustle as he went into the corner. That was Tallinder's side/corner of the ice and he got caught standing still at the blueline. Then while Bergeron scored the goal, Grier, Gaustad, Myers and Tallinder all were standing within a few feet of him and had a great view of the GWG.

Not to mention that when you have the greatest goaltender in the world, you expect a save when the series is on the line. Yes, it would have been a fantastic one. I love Vogl's comment that "Miller never had a chance." Bull. He got a piece of it. So, wait... if Miller never had a chance, then had he made the save there, to be logical, Vogl would have to write, "Miller made a lucky save," right? I'm not blaming Miller at all. But against the worst offensive team in the NHL, the leading candidate for the Vezina is not giving us an edge in goal. The numbers don't lie. Six goals against in five periods.
Cereal Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Sabres had an extremely good record on VS 05-06 and especially 06-07.
Sherman Posted April 21, 2010 Author Report Posted April 21, 2010 Sabres had an extremely good record on VS 05-06 and especially 06-07. So since 06-07 we haven't won on vs? It sucks that just about every time we get a national game we lose since 06-07.
Corp000085 Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Would it be appropriate to close this thread tonight after a victory?
SwampD Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Didn't we beat Montreal on VS this year? Toronto as well?

Buffalo Wings Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Didn't we beat Montreal on VS this year? Toronto as well? Yes, but was the OP just talking about the playoff games on OLN/VS?
MidwestSabresFan Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 But wasn't it OLN at that time and not VS? So what you're saying is that a TV networks name change.... is the jinx? They are the same station no matter what the name... My apologies... that game was 6-6 when Drury scored for the 7-6, wildest game I've ever seen.... also the most nerve and heart valve wrecking game.... The game was on MSG. It may have been on MSG locally... but it was also on OLN/VS nationally... since I was watching it in Iowa, lol.
