JohnRobertEichel Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Wish we could screen their goalie as good as we screen our own. Yeah but Miller has also been looking downright mediocre for the past 3 periods.
MichFan Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Ennis is getting abused. Fell down in O-zone, couldn't get back into the play in time. Need to keep him out of 4-on-4's. Not sure how he is going to hold up in this series.

Not sure how he is going to hold up in this series. I noticed the same thing. Ennis needs to grow 3 inches and put on 30 pounds between periods.
wjag Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Sabres are winning faceoffs tonight. I'll take that as a good sign..
K-9 Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Says here that Torres gets off the schnide tonight. That line is working too hard to not get rewarded again. Torres from Grier sometime in the 2nd. GO SABRES!!!
Armydoogie Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Sabres are winning faceoffs tonight. I'll take that as a good sign.. +1 B-)
shrader Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Wish we could screen their goalie as good as we screen our own. Grier worked his ###### off to get back on that rush. Tough break that he's the one supplying the screen.
Chief Enabler Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 :censored: x2 Dont quote me, it was Sobotka, I thought it was #20, reality was #60.......
ROC Sabres Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Grier worked his ###### off to get back on that rush. Tough break that he's the one supplying the screen. Yea he did. He took away the 2 on 1. I like the jump they have but we need to get more opportunities like that and try to bury it and not pass it til the periods over(see connolly on the 3 on 2).
Stoner Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 God Rencourt is awful. I could really go for a taped instrumental anthem instead. It is my sad duty to report that Rancourt died 10 seconds before finishing the anthem. RIP RR.
Guest Sloth Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Boston is doing a much better job at moving the puck up the ice. They're moving up in numbers and getting back in numbers. The Sabres aren't doing as well as Boston is in the neutral zone and it has been like this for a good portion of the series. Buffalo needs to do something about it.
Assquatch Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 Sabres' passing is still not crisp. They can't seem to connect two in a row without ending up in someone's skates.
wjag Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 It should be pointed out that it was a great shot by Wideman. He smoked Miller high, just under the crossbar. That's where he can be beaten, like most goalies.
ROC Sabres Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 I know it's intermission, but doesn't that look like a lot of empty seats behind Kevin and Harry?
shrader Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 It is my sad duty to report that Rancourt died 10 seconds before finishing the anthem. RIP RR. You, my friend, are a god.
Stoner Posted April 19, 2010 Report Posted April 19, 2010 You, my friend, are a god. Seriously, he's the dead dude in Weekend with Bernie. I don't know what to make of this period! Miller just can't routinely let in that shot, I know that.

Miller just can't routinely let in that shot, I know that. He looked more p1ssed coming off the ice after the 1st than I think I have ever seen him before.

Miller just can't routinely let in that shot, I know that. Most goalies do, though...if you're going to be a butterfly goalie, it's always going to be open...and if you're not a butterfly goalie, you may stop that, but you're letting more in down low.
