Chief Enabler Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 I think he is just holding the puck a second too long...sometimes, you just need to let it rip when you get it...he seems to try to do too much sometimes...and that will only come with more experience. take that one to the bank!!!!!!
wjag Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Pominville!!! Man I just called that.. Buffalo: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: Boston:
Figster Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 It's time for Pomiville or Connolly to make some noise in this series Pominville scores!!!
eball Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Well, one of my predictions just came true; the population just went up one!
Mikey Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Now THAT was a good spot to be in for Ennis.
DrDahlinstein Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 who the heck is Jason Pominville?!? huge goal!!!
bunomatic Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 What are they?31 and 0 after 2 with the lead.Go boys!
Raelity Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Agreed. I think part of that might just be the whole "Hey, I'm new to this whole NHL thing". With some time he'll be able to (hopefully) find the spots that fit his style of play best. And right after that post, a nice pace to Pom's for a goal. Hey say something about somebody else, we might be on to something here.
wjag Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Paille schooled the big fella there. Man that was close!!! MILLLLLLLERRRRRRR

bunomatic Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Wow its been a joy to watch our 3rd and 4th lines today.Grier,Kaleta and Ellis have been our blood and guts.
Chief Enabler Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Now THAT was a good spot to be in for Ennis. I think he's playing damn good for a kid with only 10 or so games under his belt. I dont see to many others flying around in and around the net.
HopsGuy Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Mike Grier puts a drive on goal about as often as Roscoe Parrish breaks a tackle. Better skating in the 2nd half of that period. Good to stop the bleeding. Gerbe better turn that plane around.
Bmwolf21 Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 It's time for Pominville or Connolly to make some noise in this series Nice call.

shrader Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 It's time for Pominville or Connolly to make some noise in this series Yeah! Pommer! Way to respond fellas! I love reading back on these threads just for back to back posts like this.

Stoner Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 It's time for Pominville or Connolly to make some noise in this series You do this all the time. Keep doing it! I made a mental post for Pominville to wake up.
eball Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 I love reading back on these threads just for back to back posts like this. Take a look back at the 3rd post of the thread. ;)
Lethbridge Broncos Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 the injury to vanek is more important than this game. especially with no Hecht. because they have size and control the puck. this club no has a ton of pond skaters. this is going to be a hard finish. raffi torres MUST MUST step up . i would consider moving motodor to forward in boston and dressing butler. or grab a woosey stafford... connolly is not 100%. he has played good defense however. kennedy has been terrific, absolutely terrifc all over the ice... a rookie...

Couldn't agree more -- which is why they MUST hold this lead and go up 2-0.
Stoner Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 Whatever. It's what you do in the playoffs to win. It was meant to knock him off balance. It was not meant to smash his knee into a million pieces, and it's what I would want any of our guys to do when they beat. This isn't even a matter of disagreeing with someone. I just totally disrespect what you're saying. That might be a first for me on this board, when it comes to posters I respect, anyway. That was no hockey play. That was no ordinary slash. That was brutal. I never want a Sabre to do that. Ever.
McJeff215 Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 FWIW, this article says left foot. Now, of course they could mean "left foot or above", but it's the most specific I've seen yet. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5hwSQRgtn7zcXxao5YtdR20AwikzwD9F4VID81
