taterhill Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Who is going and where do you usually go before the games? I will be there..Section 113...we usually do the playoff bar hop before game 1....Beer at Swannie House, Malamute, CobbleStone, Benchwarmers, Morriseys, and finally Pour Mans Aud Club.....good times
CallawaySabres Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Game 1 Series 1 after playoff absence is ALWAYS my favorite one. No doubt I'll be leaving office to hit the Plaza atmosphere by 5pm sharp
Sabre Dance Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Who is going and where do you usually go before the games? I will be there..Section 113...we usually do the playoff bar hop before game 1....Beer at Swannie House, Malamute, CobbleStone, Benchwarmers, Morriseys, and finally Pour Mans Aud Club.....good times Dang! If I had just one beer at each place, I'd never make it to the game - I'd just head home and snooze! Ah, the glories of aging!
Eleven Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 If I'm going, I'm in a luxury box for work, but that's never as much fun as being in the crowd (plus I'll have to actually work while the game is going on). I'm in for game 2 though. EDIT: I'm in.
shrader Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 Make some noise for all of us. We'll return the favor when the series swings out to Boston.
eball Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I wish. IF there's a deep postseason run, I see myself making a trek from NC.
cdexchange Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Going to game 2...first row, section 314.
VansTheMans Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 I'll be there. I'll be in my season ticket seats. Section 300, Row 12, Seat 14  That's where the true fans reside.
Two or less Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 I'll be there.... 4th row from the ice in section 118 wearing my Thomas Vanek jersey! Prolly hitting up Pearl Street for a few beers around 4 then heading to the party at the plaza at 5ish... gonna remain at the plaza post game for a bit then hitting chippawa street.
thesportsbuff Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Section 312 in a Connolly third (or should I say home? ;) )
VansTheMans Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Im hyped for game 1. I'll be getting out of work at 5 and racing downtown for the party at the plaza. Weather looks like it will hold out. Should be an awesome evening. Go Sabres! B-)
Claude_Verret Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 I wish. IF there's a deep postseason run, I see myself making a trek from NC. I'm with you there. I'll be at HSBC for a game if they get past the second round. Until then I'll be watching my first Sabres playoff games outside at the man cave I built in my backyard two years ago. It sucked having to watch the Canes games last year with my neighbors.

If by some chance the cards fall correctly, maybe you guys could take the raping/pillaging/baby eating world tour up to DC.

Now that wouldn't be such a bad idea at all. We'd all end up disappointed with the response though, no fan base can ever be as whiny and thin skinned compared to what we have down here in Raleigh.
VansTheMans Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 For drivers, they'll probably be shutting down the street, so take some detours. I'm a pro. I bypass roads. I take the Sabres train B-) It's all part of the pre-game ritual. Hop on at South Campus, have a chat with Sabres fans on the train, get hyped up and storm the doors of the HSBC. But thank you for the heads up. Drivers, take note.

Sometimes ride the train back, but sometimes I hitch.
johnnychemo Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 308 row 5, wearing a Rick Martin jersey. Gonna hit the plaza for a bit beforehand too!
apuszczalowski Posted April 15, 2010 Report Posted April 15, 2010 I will be there, somewhere in the 300 section behind one of the nets (can't remember exactly where) I bought a single seat for game 1 and game 5. I plan on leaving work at 5, maybe stopping off for some wings before crossing the bridge and heading to the Party. I will be wearing a Sabres jersey all day at work, then will probably where my Sabres USA Jersey for the game

Hopefully that will change once we get a little further into the day.
