The wings are the scariest team going into the second season.
Fizz315 Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010  I can kind of agree, but I honestly think that we will beat NJ.

eball Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Buffalo will lose every game 2-0. No heart, no toughness, no grit, no skill, crappy coaching, and Miller will only save 38 of 40 shots per game. Oh yeah, and one of those two goals will be soft.

You seem to want to keep picking at this. I haven't seen much negativity on this board since the playoff matchup was set. Even I've given it a rest, wiped the slate clean. That's what you do when the regular season ends. Maybe you're the negative one? I'm not sweating this round. I've bought 99% into Miller, and if the Sabres can't win a matchup of Miller and the league's worst offense, something is very wrong. I'll even give Lindy his propers and note how well he has had his teams prepared to start the playoffs from the very beginning of his tenure. If Ruff can't outcoach Claude Whoever, with home ice advantage, something is very wrong. If they win this round, we have something. If they lose it, we never had it anyway, apparently. No worries. Sabres in five. I don't care about the other series. Edit: OK, I care. About the East. Sabres over NJ in the second round, Ottawa over Washington. Who else, who else? :)

I worry about Miller's history of soft goals and Ruff's dump the puck and the change lines insanity, but the Sabres have too much of a talent edge up front to lose to Boston. Buffalo in 5 on the strength of it's skill forwards.

Barnabov Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 I'd love to see us beat Boston in quarters, then Montreal in semis then Philly in Eastern finals and finally someone like Chicago or Detroit for Lord Stanley's Cup.
