On a side note, it was rumored that Buffalo was one of only 3 teams he would waive his NTC for. Boston and NJ were the other 2.

With Lydman most likely not to return and Weber/Sekera waiting to get in full time, does any one believe Darcy may make a move for Kaberle in the off season?

Is this confirmed? I've never heard anything such as this?

I'd say there is no way that Darcy pays 4.25 million for a one year and done player who doesn't play well with coaches.

We have a winner

Lydman has been steady as she goes cog in the Sabres mother ship. Methinks he should continue to steady the defensive corps for years to come!!!!

1. Any link for this "rumor?" I find it very close to impossible that Buffalo would be one of 3 cities a top-end player would waive a NTC for.

2. I think it's 90% likely that Lydman is gone this summer.

If true, it may be a function of location more than anything else.
