Sabres don't look intimidated to me. It's the same story every time we play Ottawa. First off, their goalie...Elliott or whoever rarely if ever has a bad game. They ALWAYS get the first goal and play with a lead. Miller NEVER has his best game vs. the Sens. You would think every once in a while the Sabres would put 5 goals up against these guys but they never do. It's a terrible and unlucky matchup. It's kind of embarrassing to lose this many times over 5 yrs to the same team.

This. One time, I would like to see Miller completely unconscious against this team...

Am I allowed to say he's off his game a bit tonight?

Paging Jack Adams... some answers... any time now... paging Jack Adams.

That might have been the worst penalty I've ever seen Lydman take. That's a give up penalty.

Lazy, stupid, undisciplined, Lindy Ruff hockey.

Go down to ice level get Miller's attention then point to the other goalie and shout "this".

You could even top it off with one of those rapper hand movements they do when they talk.

Goose had two of those big whiffs.

He leads the league in board rattling missed hits.

As much as I love patty, kaleta leads in this category hands down.

That was one of the weakest crosschecking calls I've ever seen. Fraser needs a puck shot at him Alfy-style.

The TSN feed said that Montador was high sticked and was bleeding (should have been four) and then Montador took things into his own hands and penalty then goal against!

It is officiating quality control! Rather the lack thereof!

If we lose tonight our only consolation will be that Frazier is gone after this season and hopefully Buttman and Colon will follow suit thereafter.

In the meantime, I am NOT suggesting we suffer these amateurs. The tide is turning - it just may take a little while longer to shed these parasites!!!

friggin Ottawa, :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

The Sabres never show up against this team.

Then the broadcast crew announces that the Sabres aren't equipped to play in Ottawa's attack style.

That's nice to hear.

A pleasant reminder that we no longer have an offensive powerhouse thanks to the front office.

Don't get me wrong...I love Miller. But that whole crouched, shrugging motion as a slapshot flies over his glove hand/shoulder is getting OLD.

GREAT SHOT, POMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna go out on a weird limb here...(and yes, I do realize I'm saying this before the game is over)

...I DEFINITELY want Ottawa in the 1st round. My rationale is that one of two things will happen:

A) The attitude adjustment sorely needed by this team will be required to put Ottawa's dominance to rest. Everyone in that locker room will need to look deep within themselves and summon the anger, the skill, and the passion it will take to finally push back. It's the story of the bullied 'little child' finally pushing back against the bully and becoming a 'man'.

or

B) The team will fold and get pushed around like they usually do against Ottawa. And then Darcy will be forced to take a good, hard look at what he really needs to do this upcoming offseason, because everyone's going to be pissed at how Ottawa owns us so easily.

Neither of these things will happen, I think, if Buffalo plays Philly, Montreal, Boston, etc. They will probably win that series 4-2, maybe even 4-3, but they will get to the 2nd round, and after two years without the playoffs, I think the team will pat themselves on the back for making such a good run.

To become a better team, one way or the other...we need to play Ottawa.

I hate to sound like SR here, but the officiating here in the third is completely non-existant.

It's late in the season and it's a Canadian team.
