biodork Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 All those rebound shots and we finally get one that trickles in, go figure. I'll still take it!
ROC Sabres Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Goose with a no look, no eyes, no whatever goal.
inkman Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 I know someone who won't be honking for the goose. ;-)
SwampD Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 I've said it before, I'll say it again - No team scores more goals from behind the goal line than the Sabres. We really need more from the front of the net.
North Buffalo Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Nice Sabres are starting to run Elliot.
SabresRepublic Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this game is over.... I'm gonna keep my feet on the ground and say that it's all over for Ottawa now!!! BTW, 10 Sabres with 10 or more goals - best in NHL!!! Most balanced scoring team all season long!
Iron Crotch Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Did they give the goal to Kennedy? Yep, Kennedy.
Iron Crotch Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Isn't it about time for Alfredson to retire?
North Buffalo Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Just when my hopes got up, bad miss by the refs.
Xray Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Was I just not commenting on Captain Gooser's PK work? He has the distinction of being on the ice for all 3 Ottawa goals so far. They better wake up and get him out of there before the playoffs.
SabresRepublic Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Kerry Frazier should NOT be officiating this game! Buttman is a joke! He shoukd be banned from Buffalo! For those who do NOT remember Frazier was ridiculed big time for his officiating the Vancouver - Buffalo game earlier on the West Coast trip! His payback?
North Buffalo Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 I forgot about the Frazier screw up... forget about this game even if Ow wa didn't have the Sabres number.
Xray Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 A lucky deflection goal off Kennedy's skate and now he's stuck with Goose and Grier.
Iron Crotch Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 We always look like we're intimidated when we play Ottawa. On that note, I'd have loved to have seen Torres in this game. If only because he hasn't yet learned that he is supposed to be intimidated by these guys.
ThePebble19 Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Now they are just losing their heads... ...Of course, one could argue they never had them to begin with.
Xray Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 We always look like we're intimidated when we play Ottawa. On that note, I'd have loved to have seen Torres in this game. If only because he hasn't yet learned that he is supposed to be intimidated by these guys. Yeah it couldn't hurt to try. They did trade for him didn't they? Didn't they say that he filled a need for them?
North Buffalo Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 That and Stafford is still not hustling... at least Torres hustles
ThePebble19 Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Yeah it couldn't hurt to try. They did trade for him didn't they? Didn't they say that he filled a need for them? Yes. Unfortunately, he has the wrists of a 6 year old girl, and a practice shot is keeping him out...
SabreInFla Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Anybody still want to play this team in the first round, or at all in the playoffs? Sweep.
zow2 Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 Sabres don't look intimidated to me. It's the same story every time we play Ottawa. First off, their goalie...Elliott or whoever rarely if ever has a bad game. They ALWAYS get the first goal and play with a lead. Miller NEVER has his best game vs. the Sens. You would think every once in a while the Sabres would put 5 goals up against these guys but they never do. It's a terrible and unlucky matchup. It's kind of embarrassing to lose this many times over 5 yrs to the same team.
SwampD Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 That was one of the weakest crosschecking calls I've ever seen. Fraser needs a puck shot at him Alfy-style.
