wjag Posted April 10, 2010 Report Posted April 10, 2010 Just another example of the pain being a WNY sports fan.. :pirate: Sometimes a bridesmaid, never a bride....
Eleven Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 Looks like the Badgers got theirs. Does the NCAA have a third-place game?
darksabre Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 ahhhh yaahhh yah yahh, Jesus Hates Wisconsin! http://www.cbssports.com/nhl/story/13192443/bc-continues-frozen-four-dominance-much-to-the-delight-of-rit-fans http://www.uscho.com/blogs/frozen-four/frozen-four-2010/ed/20100410/rit-fans-not-ready-to-go-home-yet.html http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?t=90418 The Frozen Four was a blast, and losing didn't dampen the weekend one bit! I'm looking forward to going to St. Paul next year even if we aren't in it. That was just way too much fun. And Detroit is a good town, despite being a little depressing at times. I liked it, and also Ann Arbor.
shrader Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 I'm pretty sure I spotted you in the ticket line yesterday. I tried to make my way over but the crowd was too thick. So yeah, those games were about as awful as possible for the casual fan.

If you saw a guy in a white RIT jersey with giant mutton chops and a Sabres hat on, taunting Wisconsin fans, then yes, that was me. :D

Tickets will be a tough find next year though. I think this might have been my last one though. To me, it's not what it used to be anymore. Maybe the town had a lot to do with that. There was absolutely nothing to do in Detroit. Friday was an absolute ###### show though. I couldn't believe all the drunks wandering around for that home opener.
