nobody Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 I am sick!!! I really am!!! I am going to bed.... Take a bucket with you!
Doohicksie Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 You know how I said the Wild made the Red Wings look good last night because of all the room they were giving them? They are doing exactly NOT the same thing to the Sabres. Grrr.
SwampD Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 I know he's Swiss cheese, but they really don't give Lalime much goal support. He may never get that dang 200th win.
nobody Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 He has looked so awful. He seems like he is trying so hard, but just can't find the rhythm. Gotta feel a little bad for him on that goal. Stupid attempted pass to begin the play but he did get back and actually blocked the first cross ice pass by Minny.
Stoner Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 It's really a shame that the only noise the home town fans make is to heckle the hometown goaltender. That came through loud and clear a couple of times. Hey, the mics were working just fine right there.

He doesn't give them much goal support. The Sabres just can't win with goaltending like that. And people wonder why the Sabres play so shaky in front of him?
Iron Crotch Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 He doesn't give them much goal support. The Sabres just can't win with goaltending like that. And people wonder why the Sabres play so shaky in front of him? Yeah - Based on the two shaky goals he let in during the first period, the two teams played a lot differently in the second. Hard to project what might have happened, but letting in softies sure changes the strategies of both teams...
theend Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Well, there goes my defense of Lalime in other threads. I've heard of inconsistency, but how has he managed to play really well against Chicago and Pittsburgh early in the season, and then flat out blow it multiple times in the 1st period against bottom-feeders?
Iron Crotch Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Tommy Vanek! We won't get shut out! :D
Iron Crotch Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Wow - Lindy putting Miller in. Clearly a vote of no confidence for Lalime. Interesting...
Iron Crotch Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Wow - Lindy putting Miller in. Clearly a vote of no confidence for Lalime. Interesting... Nope, never happened. I guess he was just going to use a goalie change as a time out.
matter2003 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 This team has had enough chances to score 15 goals the last 2 games... their ability to finish easy scoring chances is pathetic...
wjag Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 This has to be the most scrums in front of a net i've ever seen in a game.
nobody Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Time for the rally carp. Give me back that fillet o fish give me that fish!
Iron Crotch Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Somebody get Barnes some chapstick, please.
blugold43 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 i wish i thought they had the stones to make it all the way back.
Iron Crotch Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Vanek is heating up. Up to 22 goals on the year now. Regardless of the outcome of this game, that is a good sign.
nobody Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 The only hope is Vanek getting the natural.
blugold43 Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 too much dicking around in front of the net all night long..
