deluca67 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I don't see the need for a 'Fire Glen Sather' rally here in Buffalo.
carpandean Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I don't see the need for a 'Fire Glen Sather' rally here in Buffalo. Yeah, let him keep doing what he's doing; it's working for us, now. (My own joke aside, to DeLuca's comment.)
spndnchz Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Seventeen minutes and 33 seconds of my life I'll never get back. :death:
Stoner Posted March 12, 2010 Author Report Posted March 12, 2010 I don't see the need for a 'Fire Glen Sather' rally here in Buffalo. Touch 'em all, you drilled that one over the kiddie fence.
deluca67 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Touch 'em all, you drilled that one over the kiddie fence. I'm not allowed within 200 feet of "the kiddie fence" or a Chuckie Cheese.
FogBat Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I don't see the need for a 'Fire Glen Sather' rally here in Buffalo. Nope! Me neither. Carp, good point. Let the Rangers implode upon themselves. Makes everything better for us. spndnchz, sorry you had to waste your time. That was all we needed to know.
bunomatic Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Lord no.If they fire him he may end up in Buffalo.
Taro T Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I don't see the need for a 'Fire Glen Sather' rally here in Buffalo. Actually, I'd like to see us start up a petition to get him to keep his job in perpetuity. Him and Don Waddell. It's good to get to play in a 13 team conference. Heck, throw in the Loafs and Isles typical efforts and it's almost like being in the 21 team NHL when 8 out of 11 get in.
wjag Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I'm not allowed within 200 feet of "the kiddie fence" or a Chuckie Cheese. Do you have rat issues?
That Aud Smell Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I don't see the need for a 'Fire Glen Sather' rally here in Buffalo. +2. The punchline works both in a literal/punny sense, but, more importantly, on a substantive level (as others have observed: Sather in NYC is a boon to us). Touch 'em all, you drilled that one over the kiddie fence. I'm not allowed within 200 feet of "the kiddie fence" or a Chuckie Cheese. Where's DeLuca's post telling us to try the veal and to please tip the waitresses?
static70 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Seventeen minutes and 33 seconds of my life I'll never get back. :death: Ya, this!
inkman Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Lord no.If they fire him he may end up in Buffalo. Well, that would require the Sabres to make changes, which we both know isn't happening.
Buffalo Wings Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Seventeen minutes and 33 seconds of my life I'll never get back. :death: You mean....you actually watched that???
SabresneedaCup Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 i think the old lady means she would like to see regier fired.
Two or less Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 What a bunch of dorks. Think a protest of like 20 people will make much difference when you have a fanbase of over a million? Please.
FogBat Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 i think the old lady means she would like to see regier fired. He does look a little bit like Kathy Bates. EDIT: Post #2112. Is this an omen?
nobody Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 He does look a little bit like Kathy Bates. EDIT: Post #2112. Is this an omen? Yes, it means you like Rush (the band that is.)
FogBat Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Yes, it means you like Rush (the band that is.) It's actually been a while since I listened to any of their stuff. I have to admit that the storyline behind the song itself could be spun into a myriad of different formats. I could do it this way: MMCXII
SDS Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Seventeen minutes and 33 seconds of my life I'll never get back. :death: Well, if you watched 17 minutes and 33 seconds - then that's on you. ;)
Stoner Posted March 13, 2010 Author Report Posted March 13, 2010 I'd like to applaud and salute the admirable restraint shown by this board in not making the obvious followup to chz's 17:33 comment: kind of like 10 lovemaking sessions with inkman. Because that would have been wrong.

deluca67 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 In regards to the original topic. I don't think a rally against anyone in the front office would ever do any good. Who is there to listen? Who is there that could implement any change? I doubt the owner even knows what the NHL is at this point. Quinn knows he is considered a ######-clown in this city and wants to keep Regier in position to deflect blame. Regier doesn't have the stones to fire Ruff who is the far more accomplished entity in the NHL and would have a another job before the end of the business day he is fired on?
