Linksfiend Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Any recommendation on sports bars near Houston Intercontinental that might show the Sabres game? (They are playing Dallas - so that might help)

Two or less Posted March 9, 2010 Report Posted March 9, 2010 Just keep going bar to bar and keep asking if they have the center ice package. I bet you'll find one, probably even on your first attempt.

BuffaloFan32 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 I live in Houston but I am not sure which Crowne Plaza Hotel you are staying at. if it is near IAH then you are not near the city or anywhere cool. If it is the downtown one then you should go to Maple Leaf Pub (uptown). Despite the name, it is supposed to be a great place to watch a hockey game (I have not been there yet). I used to live in the suburbs north of the city (kind of near the airport) and used to watch the games at SRO (Standing Room Only). There is one of those kind of near the airport.
Buffalo Fan Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 IAH is nowhere near Pennsylvania. Huh?
nobody Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 Huh? See thread: [OT] ######, Pennsylvania, Penn's Woods
MattPie Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 IAH is nowhere near Pennsylvania. That's really funny, right there.
