ThePebble19 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Anyone know if those Chase ads are actually on the glass? Or are they just there for TV? That would seem to be a decant distraction. Edit: They are just on the broadcast, not actually there...When the boards shook, the ads didn't
darksabre Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Did Gerbe get traded to the Rangers?
Iron Crotch Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Looked like Mancari took a stick to the nose there. Good to see he's at least in front of the net mixing it up.
ThePebble19 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 WOW. Torres was a friggin wrecking ball on that shift.
Iron Crotch Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Looks like Miller is going to get a lot of work in this game as usual. Rangers with 15 shots in the first period.
darksabre Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Well ######, I've got the Scoring Chances by my count in the 1st as follows: BUF: 3 NYR: 7 edit: hahahaha this forum censors P'A (just remove the apostrophe)
Stoner Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I have the chances at 9-7 NY. Three or four of the Sabre chances came within seconds. Anybody else?
Stoner Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 But Mike isn't the coach. I've been burned too many times by this kind of morning skate reporting. We'll see how they line up under the big top at 7:30. Edit: or at 7. The reported lines all played to start the game.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I like the way they are playing tonight but we got to put in the net..
darksabre Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Missed the first 4 minutes because Boondock Saints is on IFC. I like our energy, we just need to get in closer.
Iron Crotch Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Do the Sabres ever work on passing in practice? We seem to have a heck of a time hitting guys on the tape.
ThePebble19 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 1st goal wins Yep, I get this feeling also. Been a good game so far.
darksabre Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 1st goal wins Miller just did a great job of making sure it wasn't a Rangers goal with that glove save.
ThePebble19 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Pominville has had a pretty bad night tonight...out of position, whiffing on shots... I mean, that's not crazy different than normal, but I have just noticed it more tonight.
Stoner Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Miller just did a great job of making sure it wasn't a Rangers goal with that glove save. Fantastic save. 5-2 NYR in chances. My Sabres' second chance came late. Vanek gets a plattered pass in the high slot and... sends it back into the corner.
darksabre Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 I can't tell if I'm watching a good game or not. It's been...weird. Scoring chances: BUF: 3 NYR: 3
K-9 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Montador has GOT to go. He is an accident waiting to happen every time he's on the ice. I know Scott pointed this out ahwile ago but it's reached epic proportions at this point. Of course this means he'll score the goal to win tonight. GO SABRES!!!
ThePebble19 Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Man...for some reason I am craving a Subway sandwich...It's like I saw the ad on my free HDTV. Maybe I can get one using my Chase credit card.
darksabre Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 Mair generating the only Buffalo scoring chance of the period so far.

I've been thinking the same thing about Rivet. When he picks up the puck in the defensive zone he doesn't have a clue what to do with it. So he just throws it somewhere....
