sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Great PK...nice goal...YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS 3-0
gregkash Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I don't know what's happening right now. But I like it.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 3-0 Buffalo after 2.... 3-1 Detroit over Ottawa in the 2nd...
wjag Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Nice to see some of the mojo back.. Been a long time since we seen this game style..
Stoner Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 they had prosthetic legs. "Paralympics" gives the wrong impression. I just read that athletes with visual disabilities can also compete.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 They look confident in this game as opposed to the tenativeness we've seen for the umpteenth million games before..
wjag Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 It does help that San Jose is playing like they have a bus to catch. There is zero, nil, nada, zilch hitting in this game. Sabres do well when you don't hit them.

ThePebble19 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 They are certainly playing well right now. I hope they don't let up...Just keep scoring until the buzzer goes. The way Miller has played lately, I don't think Alamo mode is going to get the job done tonight.
SabresRepublic Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Vanek was way overdue this game nice move. And the Germanic clan display their aptitude and skill. Go Vanek, Go Hecht, Go Grier. Go Sabres! And Talinder is a hunter out there - good job on Gaustad's goal. He almost single handedly created that opportunity - very smart!!!
sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Miller has to stop that...
gregkash Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Miller has to stop that... agreed. That's weak.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 sharks are going to pinch..watch it...
NowDoYouBelieve Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Miller has to stop that... Yeah, I think he's officially off his game...doesn't bode well for the US.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Yeah, I think he's officially off his game...doesn't bode well for the US. I agree...
wjag Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 That was Vanek's best game in a long, long time..
ROC Sabres Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 That one felt good. Haven't enjoyed a game like that in a long time. No going through the motions tonight.
Figster Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Now that's Sabre hockey  Looks like Detroit will finish off the Sens ( done deal 4-1 )
LabattBlue Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I missed the entire game except the last 3 minutes. Glad they got a win before the break. :)
Eleven Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I agree... I don't [agree as to whether Miller's games lately bode poorly for USA]. His head has been in Vancouver for a while now, and he'll do better there and will do better here after the break. All that said...Nabakov was freaking Hasek tonight, and the Sabs still found a way to win. NICE effort tonight, and a nice game. Good to hit the break with a strong win, maybe even a statement win, over a very good team.
Figster Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 I missed the entire game except the last 3 minutes. Glad they got a win before the break. :) It was well played defensively with very few mistakes. A convincing win against whats probably the best team in the NHL Nice way to bounce back before the break
Dave Dryden Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 It was well played defensively with very few mistakes. A convincing win against whats probably the best team in the NHL Nice way to bounce back before the break  Agree, they played much better. 4 out of 6 points this week a good bounceback from 0 for 8 last week. Defense played much better.
deluca67 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Posted February 14, 2010 Now that's Sabre hockey  Looks like Detroit will finish off the Sens ( done deal 4-1 ) "Sabre Hockey" is beating a west coast team at the end of a long road trip facing a two week vacation? Hopefully for the Sabres the remaining schedule is full of those scenarios. They got two points from a team that clearly started their Olympic break early. All that has been accomplished is giving Quinn and Regier another excuse not to do anything. I guess it makes it easier for Regier, Quinn and many fans to ignore that the Sabres were a desperate team and this may have been their biggest game of the year while San Jose was just looking to get home and won't even remember they played in Buffalo let alone lost by the time their players land in San Jose or Vancouver.
