LabattBlue Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Tampa 10 Buffalo 0...Team chemistry is all screwed up because Darcy traded Artem Kriukov for a ride on the Miss Buffalo, a free game of bowling & a bag of day old bagels from Manhattan Bagel. In reality...Tampa is in a free fall. Trade or no trade the Sabres spank the Lightning 5-2.
Two or less Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 I'm just wondering.... i don't know how the buisness of hockey really works, but say Sabres deal Martin Biron to Tampa for Pawel Kubina (just assuming) would there be a way they can go get new jerseys and play tonight or is there like a rule you have to pass tests and can't play the day of the trade? lol it's just been on my mind, anyone know?
Kevbeau Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Here's hoping that Center Ice carries the Sabres feed. I don't know if I can take the crapatastic Tampa announcing crew.

I think it would be a case of, here's a quick physical, go find a jersey that fits you and then have the trainer sew your name on the back. K-U-B-I-N-A. Now get out there and kick some A$$!!!!

Assuming the teams have agreed to the trade, and they will have to have as it would be after 3:00 PM, both teams would be looking to make a trip the the Broadway Knitting Mill to get a nameplate and some digits sewn on a sweater PDQ.

Didn't Grier play against Washington the day that we got him last year?
GGM Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 The real question is: Will 2nd Round Pick be dressed for tonight's game?
Kevbeau Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 The real question is: Will 2nd Round Pick be dressed for tonight's game? It's a long flight from Vancouver, plus he probably has to connect through Chicago or NY.
X. Benedict Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 The real question is: Will 2nd Round Pick be dressed for tonight's game? Don't underestimate 2nd Round Pick, I think he will be wearing number 49.
PTS Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Tonight's game is pretty big. We can't afford to drop this chance at getting closer to Ottawa after their loss last night.
Goodfella25 Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 A win tonite puts us just 2 points behind Ottawa for first in the division. My prediction is that the Sabres will come out fired up because they know for sure now that they're all here for the stretch run and no one who actually plays got shipped out. Although I am curious to see the line of Drury-Kotalik-2nd round pick, what a dangerous trio

I'm hoping for an all out spanking of Tampa Bay since there is no pressure or jitters about being traded.

X. Benedict Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Tough call as to who dresses if 2nd round pick makes it to Buffalo by game time... Peters or 2nd round pick? I'd play 2nd Round Pick, from what I hear he's got potential.
Taro T Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 I'd play 2nd Round Pick, from what I hear he's got potential. Which is something Andro doesn't have. :P
Campy Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 Here's hoping that Center Ice carries the Sabres feed. I don't know if I can take the crapatastic Tampa announcing crew. Amen. They're right up there with the craptasticness of the NESN crew. Surely God wouldn't be so cruel as to subject us to two consecutive games of audio hell, would He?
Campy Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 There is a God!!! It is so nice to hear your funny voice RJ! :D
bob_sauve28 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Well, this is the team we are going with! I'm not unhappy. This is the best group we have ever had here in my opinion and I'm looking forward to the rest of the season and Lord Stanley's playoffs! LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!!!
Strow Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Sounds like the boys are flying tonight!!!!! Anyone know the lines/pairs with Timmy and Tree back?
bob_sauve28 Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 They look good tonight! I like that new Connelly line!
Campy Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 Haven't caught the D pairings yet but these look like the lines to start the game: Dumont, Briere, Hecht Kotalik, Connolly, Pominville Gaustad, Drury, Grier Afinogenov, Roy, Vanek
Campy Posted March 10, 2006 Report Posted March 10, 2006 D pairings appear to be: McKee, Campbell Numminem, Kalinin Lydman, Tallinder
