ColdBlueNorth Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 That guy is minus minus minus minus everytime he is on the ice. A little pressure and he is a turnover machine.
Fizz315 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 That guy is minus minus minus minus everytime he is on the ice. A little pressure and he is a turnover machine. Yeah he does he just blew the game and I am freakin pissed, you gotta be kidding me.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Agreed ya could see it coming back up and trip over himself
CallawaySabres Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Some of the higher salary guys like Vanek are impossible to get rid of but can someone PLEASE tell me what McCarthur and Stafford do to contribute an ounce on this team.....Just get rid of them already and bring 2 guys up. Seriously, they do NOTHING on this team....

SDS Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Good to see SDS getting some love around here... http://forums.sabrespace.com/topic/16316-ok-i-dont-get-the-montador-man-crush/
TheChimp Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Was Montador responsible for the three-on-none? Lemme put it this way, I would bet my house that Miller, in his post-game presser, had about seven or eight teammates that he wanted to call out more than Montador.
Eleven Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 I don't dislike him as much as some on this board do, but I'm damned pissed at him right now. I can't even read the GDT, much less post in it.
carpandean Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Vanek are impossible to get rid of See Gomez, Scott. Same cap hit (roughly) and higher salary. His numbers for the three seasons prior to the Canadiens trading for him: 2006-07: 13G, 47A, 60P in 72GP 2007-08: 16G, 42A, 70P in 81GP 2008-09: 16G, 42A, 58P in 77GP Vanek's last three: 2006-07: 42G, 41A, 83P in 82GP 2007-08: 36G, 28A, 64P in 82GP 2008-09: 40G, 24A, 64P in 73GP and he's on pace for: 2009-10: 24G, 30A, 54P in 77GP If they want to trade Vanek, they absolutely can ... in the Summer.

I can't even read the GDT, much less post in it. +1. I have a hard time understanding how a veteran defenseman can give away a game like that. Unacceptable.
Stoner Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 +1. I have a hard time understanding how a veteran defenseman can give away a game like that. Unacceptable. Never seen a hockey player fall down?
nfreeman Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Never seen a hockey player fall down? In a frisky mood this morning, eh?
Stoner Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 In a frisky mood this morning, eh? Yes. I'm taking out one SabreSpace poster for every day the Sabres go without a win. Do you feel lucky, punk?
spndnchz Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Yes. I'm taking out one SabreSpace poster for every day the Sabres go without a win. Do you feel lucky, punk? You'll need to take out 13 posters then.
nfreeman Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Yes. I'm taking out one SabreSpace poster for every day the Sabres go without a win. Do you feel lucky, punk? I'm #1 on the death list? What about XB? He acts so mild-mannered, but you and him keep getting into dustups. Or Spndchz? Remember when she made fun of your "equipment?"
Lethbridge Broncos Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 I would move him to forward over Mair and then start Sekara. He played a great first 30 games -- but has struggles of late. His hitting still makes him appealing. That guy is minus minus minus minus everytime he is on the ice. A little pressure and he is a turnover machine.
