bottlecap Posted March 9, 2006 Report Posted March 9, 2006 I keep reading comments from Ottawa's fans that they are disturbed that the team has an overconfident attitude. I know, everyone has an opinion and everyone after a big loss, but I've read these statements over a period of a few months, so maybe it's true. Just a reminder: they have a long history of having great seasons and folding in the first round. Here's the latest: I am a huge Senators fan, but I am really getting tired of the team playing like "we're too good, so lets not play 100%". The team can certainly win the Stanley Cup, but the team's weakness is their pathetic attitude. I don't think the team needs any additional players, but the head coach needs to "shake the team up and give them a wake up call!" Perhaps Jacques Martin was not able to inspire the team like Brian Murray, but I know he would not let the team become so arrogant. Change your attitude guys, or else forget about winning the Stanley Cup! http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/your_call/?messageid=822977&hubname=
