Dave Dryden Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Something tells me we're going to win this. It's going to be ugly and unimpressive. But we're going to win...and then maybe get this monkey off our backs. I think we all agree that would be nice.
R_Dudley Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 How was that not a penalty there on Grier take down. ECW or what Un believable.. Okay tie game. Now win it. No need to allow any 3 on nones Bflo play smart play hard and move you feet... PTR was right we have been letting these other teams out skate us regularly..
notwoz Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 6-5 Ottawa with 5 mins left... Caps picked a lousy time to cool off.
Dave Dryden Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Caps picked a lousy time to cool off. They give up alot of goals.
nobody Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 A point in two games in a row. Shocking!
blugold43 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 we're never going to win another game, are we?
notwoz Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Nice skating by Montador. thanks for the point
Eric in Akron Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Its okay folks we are going to grow from within. :wallbash:
R_Dudley Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Okay that's on Lindy. You sat Sekera who by the way is in the Olympics for Montador. Brillant coaching move there Lindy.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 This is f***kin' high school hockey. How the f***k do you just fall down and cough up a goal in OT??? Ponderous! PTR
notwoz Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 They give up alot of goals. they do, but they also score a lot.
matter2003 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 What the F*****K!!! PTR you must b kidding... stuff like this only happens to bad teams, and right now we are a VERY bad team...
static70 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010    Its okay folks we are going to grow from within. :wallbash: I can't help it, just the thought of this statement kills me. If any one seriously believes Mantodar and Butler are better than Weber and Gragnani your kidding yourselves. This is just painful to watch. Make the changes already.
Dave Dryden Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Okay that's on Lindy. You sat Sekera who by the way is in the Olympivs for Montador. Brillant coaching move there Lindy. Lindy had to know Montador would lose an edge. What a coach.
theend Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Well, $%#*. Ottawa officially in 3rd place, now. Sabres to 5th.
Dave Dryden Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 they do, but they also score a lot. that they do
notwoz Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Its okay folks we are going to grow from within. :wallbash: that's such a depressing thought.
nobody Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 I kinda feel bad for Montador and Butler in this one. Montador slips and gives the puck up. Butler goes down to block a shot then doesn't realize the puck is under him. Oh well. Play Sekera and Paetsch.
ParkMeadow Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Montador sucks. Even before this abortion he scares me everytime he touches the puck. Anyone still think he was a great offseason pickup?
matter2003 Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 I don't understand how a veteran guy could do something like that knowing how badly we needed those points. Clear the freaking puck...why is Montador of all people doing dipsy doodles behind his net like he is Tim Connolly or Brian Campbell? Get your head in the freaking game....inexcusable...
Eric in Akron Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 If you have watched the Sabres since the beginning of December then you would quickly realize that this team doesn't set up very well in the offensive zone and that Miller has been saving our butts. Now that Miller has been playing great but not elite, you see what you truly have with this team. It has been like this all year, but now that teams are skating harder and hitting harder, the Sabres have not increased their intensity or their desperation. I also find it interesting that Darcy comes out and says we have to grow from within and then team has fallen apart.
