bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Please WIN tonight losing to the canes twice in one week will be too much to handle in this neck of the woods. Great party at Buffalo Brothers last night I think the Sabres fans will be loud tonight. Lets GO Buffalo!!!!
SwampD Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 The Sabres need to think about the open spaces,... not the goalie.
Kristian Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Can't we just skip ahead to the break already?
CallawaySabres Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 enough is enough. A slump is fine but losing to these goons tonight would pretty much be unacceptable.
nobody Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Please o please win! (And do it in regulation.)
R_Dudley Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Can't we just skip ahead to the break already? Â  Yeah i want to watch Olympic International all star competition. Â Please o please win! (And do it in regulation.) Â :worthy: +1 Â What they said.
darksabre Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Feel the Rhythm, Feel the Rhyme, Get on Up, It's Bobsled Time!
scottnc Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Feel the Rhythm, Feel the Rhyme, Get on Up, It's Bobsled Time! Â I'm going to the game and I want want to see more of what we saw in the 2nd and 3rd periods against the Bruins... not the first.
Kristian Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010  Yeah i want to watch Olympic International all star competition. Â Â The way I see it, it usually makes for two kinds of games - Dull as heck blowouts, or damn close, rather physical games. Â The standard of officiating has a LOT to say about it though. Some refs call every single bodycheck roughing, others allow all kinds of contact, except stick contact which appear to be an automatic 2 mins no matter what. Â TBH though, I was referring to the break, not the olympics  Â This team could use one.

I knew that and agree however I was adding that I am looking forward to the Olympics including the all star hockey.  I agree the hockey officiating can go either way but I like to see what player's step up for their country's and who might carry that back over to their NHL teams(e.g. I think Hecht's improvement had a lot to do with being initially left off the roster).  Last I do enjoy rooting for the USA and I am not quite as invested in the outcomes as i am for the Sabre's and want to see some of the other winter sport's like skiing, speed skating, and the Luge.
Sabre Dance Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 I'm going to give tonight's game all the attention it deserves - I'm going to the Auto Show and then out for dinner. I'll check the score on the smartphone between courses.....
spndnchz Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 What happened to the Sabrespace I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts? Â This could be the greatest night of our lives. But your gonna let it be the worst. Oooo, we're afraid to watch the game, we might be let down. Well just kiss my ass from now on. Not me. I'm not gonna take this! Stall! He's a dead man! Cullen, dead. Whitney, dead. Â We gotta take these bastards. Now, we could fight them with conventional weapons. That could take years, cost millions of salary cap dollars. I think in this case we have to go all out. I think this situation absolutely requires.... a really crazy gesture be done on somebodies part. Â And we're just the team to do it. Let's do it! GO GO GO GO GO GO
Two or less Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 I wish i could turn the game off and do something else, but Sabres hockey is like a drug for me. I can't get enough of it, even when they suck.

spndnchz Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 We're still upset about the Germans bombimg Pearl Harbor. Â Hey! Somebody got it! Â It really does feel that way. The girls and I have called an emergency margarita night. :D
notwoz Posted February 11, 2010 Report Posted February 11, 2010 Wow, not much traffic tonight. Is everyone on the Survivor boards, talking about the Villains vs. Heroes season? Or is everyone still trying to figure out how the Sabres could fall apart so quickly? Plan B for me, in the event that the Sabres stink up the joint, is to switch to Caps vs. Ottawa

Rip Titwide Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 I can deal with that power play. Even if they didnt score. Moving the puck well.
notwoz Posted February 12, 2010 Report Posted February 12, 2010 Hecht -- what a shocker. Hope the Sabres can make the lead stand
