mrjsbu96 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 How the F does Lucic not get a penalty there? You have to be F'ing kidding me. I"m fine with CHara getting away with the X-check, but Lucic has to get the gate there
BuffalOhio Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 How the hell does Lucic not get a penalty for coming into that altercation? #%^$#! off!
theend Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 The Caps were down 2-0 and the fans were still interested, yelling, making noise, etc...like I said, it seems like it has been like this all year. I am just wondering why.. I don't think the Caps fans have much skepticism about their team's abilities. We're also playing in a mode comparable to the Devils' style of play...which doesn't lend itself to a raucous crowd.
North Buffalo Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 God I hate the Bruins announcers, they need to learn the game of hockey. Idiots.
mrjsbu96 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 1. MSG's mics are part of the problem. 2. Seriously, DC as the example? I don't know, search my posts, but about a hundred times, I think, I've established that they are bandwagoners. Lived there for seven years; there are no real hockey fans in the District, and not that many Caps fans in MD, either. The year the Craps went to the finals, I could not give away PLAYOFF tickets. I've told that story a few times, too. ELeven - i recall seeing you post in the past about DC, so maybe DC is a bad example, but I guess I was just so impressed with their fans and the game this past Sunday. Don't you officiate down there also?
ThePebble19 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
SwampD Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Maybe Rask has the same birth defect that Miller does.
Iron Crotch Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Seriously, when was the last time we had a defenseman who could do what Myers just did? I'm thinking you'd have to go all the way back to Phil Housley.
ThePebble19 Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Maybe Rask has the same birth defect that Miller does. That is also hilarious. There are some gems in this thread tonight.
SabreInFla Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Maybe Rask has the same birth defect that Miller does. Haha....good one!
theend Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Maybe Rask has the same birth defect that Miller does. Nice.
darksabre Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Who needs forwards when you have Teemu Myers playing the whole ice?

Don't you officiate down there also? I definitely have posted about DC and its "fans," but the guy who used to officiate down there is BuffalOhio, I think. I also think his name used to be "DCSabres" or something like that. I've never officiated a game, except in my own mind, of course. I would have done better than Wally Harris. I lived in Washington from 1997 through 2004, and despite a new arena, several star players (Bondra, Kolzig, Jagr) and a Finals appearance, the team was always right behind DC United (not kidding!) in the city's consciousness. I can't consider the latecomers to be real Caps fans; I just can't.

Don't you officiate down there also? That would be me, I think. I just moved away from DC last April. I gotta tell ya, the hockey fans down there aren't so much bandwagoners anymore; not since Ovechkin came along. He's really changed things down there. And yes, I used to officiate down there for 8 years. I do it in Cleveland now, and the hockey here sucks in comparison. My old 'Home Rink' just collapsed from the snow. Prince William Ice Center. Very sad news. Why the #%^$#! can't I ever insert an actual image?

BuffalOhio Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 End of the 2nd. Now I'm off to officiate some pretty good mens' league hockey in Strongsville. I'll watch the 3rd when I get home after midnight. Night all! Lets Go, Buff-A-Lo!
Stoner Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Looks like I Picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue. Good for Danny Paille - I'm happy for him. I know that the fans don't have much to cheer for lately and in this game, but they are still in first place yet the Arena sounds like a morgue lately. I mean, the atmosphere for a Caps game (like this past SUnday) blows away anything I hear from the Arena this year. Is it just b/c it is tee-vee? I haven' been back home for a gamee in over three years.. Hey, long time no post. PA tips his fedora in mrjsbu's direction.
Stoner Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Maybe Rask has the same birth defect that Miller does. lmao
bottlecap Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Look out Bruins, here come the Buffalo Cadavers!
darksabre Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Look out Bruins, here come the Buffalo Cadavers! I love this GDT so much.
