That's Darcy's dilemma in a nutshell. She doesn't have anything to offer.

Sorry, but the guys NJ gave up for Kovy could easily have been matched by what we have in Buffalo. easily. Darcy isn't trading anyone because he doesn't wanna ruin his ten-year plan.

BTW, Stafford's fight was AMAZING. He popped Umberger twice and took punches like a CHAMP.

Lindy has mishandled the goalies all year. last night should have been lalime at home and miller on road with lalime getting carolina again thur night. Oh well this one is over

Lindy should have played Lalime last night and tonight so he would have gotten the rust off yesterday.

I dunno about you guys, but that fight helped a little. Sure, our veteran defensemen are horrid, and our rookie defensemen are in over their heads, but Stafford just proved alot of doubters, including myself, dead wrong. Dude can drop 'em. Too bad Lindy hates fighting now and will probably sit him for it.

I'd disagree with that. Outside of Myers and maybe Tallinder, Oduya is more reliable than all of our defensemen. And Tallinder's a free agent, while Oduya is signed for several more years. And we know we're not giving up Myers. Bergefors is younger and has more upside than Stafford, MacArthur, or anyone comparable, and has about the same #s. You could argue Gerbe is the equivalent or better than Cormier, but that's about it.

And then when you talk about a 1st-rounder next season...all for Kovalchuk to play here a couple of months? Do you think he would be the difference here the past three-four games?

I do agree, however, that Staff's fight was awesome.

Staff popped RJ but GOOD!!!

RJ must have posted something negative about Stafford on a message board. That is the only thing that gets Stafford to show any emotion.

Wasn't it around this time last year that Pittsburgh fired their coach and they then went on to win the Stanley Cup?

Just sayin'.

If the Sabres get one on this PP I could see them putting on a big rush in this final 9 minutes.

I don't see them putting on any kind of rush until after the Olympics.

Do have any idea how hard and expensive it is to detach a conjoined-triplet?

To be honest, if it weren't for Mason and a crossbar, it wouldn't be such a lopsided loss tonight. There, that's for you daisies on these boards. That's all yer gonna get though so make it last awhile ;)

I know this year is still young, but that post is already on the ballot.

Let's see the Lindy/Darcy apologists talk their way out of this one.

Back to back games - they were tired.

Needed a little more from the Lalime to spark the team.

The BJs got a lucky goal which took some of the life of the team.

Ran into a hot goaltender.

The BJs prevented the team from playing the game they wanted.

The wheels are falling off....

This team has become very hard to watch. What a turn of events.

No, they were hard to watch when they were winning. Now they're unwatchable.
