Kristian Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Yep, I can't see that there is any harm in sending Kennedy back down for a while in favor of either Gerbe or Ennis right now. They could use the offensive help, and Kennedy is doing a lot of things wrong out there lately. That 4th line is a disaster in our own end. When they can keep the puck in the opposing end, things are working well. Once they get caught in our own, watch out, cause things are gonna come apart.
nobody Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Can't blame Ellis for that goal since he isn't playing.
wjag Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Jochen Hecht tipped a blue line shot Buffalo: :worthy: Carolina: :censored:
nobody Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 See, I mention Ellis and the Sabres score! Nice shot by Sekera and nice tip by Hecht.
ThePebble19 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Jochen Hecht tipped a nlue line shot Buffalo: :worthy: Carolina: :censored: Maybe we should take shots from the nlue line more often...they seem to go in! ;)
Kristian Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Can't blame Ellis for that goal since he isn't playing. Didn't notice which kinda says it all really. Is he a healthy scratch?
ThePebble19 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Didn't notice which kinda says it all really. Is he a healthy scratch? Yep, I think so.
Stoner Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Nope, i cant hear anything. had to sync the online feed with the video At first the audio was a little low. By the way, good to hear Rick rip the crowd pretty good after Hecht scored.
Stoner Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Jochen Hecht tipped a nlue line shot Buffalo: :worthy: Carolina: :censored: The spotlight guy has the fastest fingers in the West.
wjag Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Much better effort to start second. They must have been ripped during the intermission.
ThePebble19 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 About to be a decent 5-3 opportunity for CAR here...gotta kill this.
wjag Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Buffalo PP .. Carolina for cheating Now 4 on 4 after Myers frustrated by missing an open net takes a cross checking penalty Now Carolina PP as Stafford is forced to take his guy out after turning over the puck on the blueline Now 5 on 3 for 28 seconds Now 5 on 4 for 12 seconds Full strength
ThePebble19 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 On a 2nd glance at that play, Miller made that save a lot harder than it had to be....He was so far out of position on the first shot it was not even funny.
notwoz Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I can't think of any other word to describe the play to this point except "sloppy." I think "pathetic" is more appropriate. Here's a team that has been embarassed by two of the better teams in the league and now faces one of the cellar dwellers. What happens? They are lucky to be tied after the first. Making matters worse is Darcy's stated plan to not look for a trade to improve the team, instead getting better "internally." Oh, thanks for the head's up, Darcy. I won't waste any money by making plans to visit the homestead during the playoffs.
nobody Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Didn't notice which kinda says it all really. Is he a healthy scratch? Yes, Montador took his spot. Yes, you read that correctly.
SwampD Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Boy, these guys cant get to the Olympic break fast enough.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Boy, these guys cant get to the Olympic break fast enough. agreed and maybe it will cool off the sens...
notwoz Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Is it me or is Tyler Myers starting to signs of strain?
SwampD Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Three wraparound tries. I think that is more than I have seen all year.
wjag Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 I hate the wrap around play. It is such a low percentage play and every hockey player thinks he can beat the goalie with it.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 Is it me or is Tyler Myers starting to signs of strain? probably...he's not used to the grind...
