Stoner Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 They call nothing or diving where I play. Where do you play? What we were talking about earlier, d4rk. :wallbash:
SwampD Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I'm happy with the effort and play in that first period. That goal or two would have been the icing and cherry right there I've grown tired of effort. I want goals.
Stoner Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Not really, stupid play by Mair. Thank you.
Stoner Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Harry's the only person in broadcasting history to say, "But there's a long ways to go" in a tie game.
SwampD Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Harry's the only person in broadcasting history to say, "But there's a long ways to go" in a tie game. I love how Ray says "acrost."
Stoner Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Sabres' grips seem really tight. Brains too at times. Not a good feeling about how games like this usually end up. Should be 3-0.
ROC Sabres Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Where do you play? What we were talking about earlier, d4rk. :wallbash: MCC, rochester Beer league
ThePebble19 Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Sabres' grips seem really tight. Brains too at times. Not a good feeling about how games like this usually end up. Should be 3-0. Agreed...Imperative that they kill this penalty off and continue this hard-nosed play though. They just have to make their chances count on the scoreboard.

I disagree. I got a great feeling. I think they light it up with a shortie to start the second. With the skaters about equal, I'll choose Miller over Elliot.
ParkMeadow Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Agree. Sens look way too relaxed, like they're just sitting back waiting to pounce on the brain cramp that the Sabres always seem to have in games like these. Hope we're wrong about these feelings...
ROC Sabres Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Harry's the only person in broadcasting history to say, "But there's a long ways to go" in a tie game. He'd say that if we were down by 10 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd.
wjag Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Eliot 6-0 vs Sabres lifetime... Kill the penalty...
ThePebble19 Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 I know this is probably beating a dead horse....but the crowd is way too soft in this game...for a rivalry, and a game this big, this place should be rocking. I loved hearing how loud the Pittsburgh crowd was the other night.
wjag Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Nice save by Miller... That was too close...
SwampD Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Eliot 6-0 vs Sabres lifetime... Kill the penalty... Sabres win tonight.
ROC Sabres Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Eliot 6-0 vs Sabres lifetime... Kill the penalty... Statistics only mean anything to less than 3% of people. Just making that up, fyi.
Kristian Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Jesus #%^$#!in Christ Connolly, how crap can you get??!
ThePebble19 Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 That was the worst display of PP I have seen in quite a while.
darksabre Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Where do you play? What we were talking about earlier, d4rk. :wallbash: I don't think his remark was quite as directly related as what we were discussing. The basics of reffing in beer league is in a whole other realm from reffing in the NHL or even in college for that matter. Officiating is far more inconsistent on the whole as opposed to the basics of playing the game. MCC, rochester Beer league Eww...I like ESL (just gotta make sure you don't get robbed in the locker rooms) but I haven't played beer league in a few years. I played at Lakeshore which I rather liked except for the drive. If I'm still in the area after I graduate in May I'll probably get myself back in to beer league.
wjag Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Sabres are definitely hitting.. Me likely..
SwampD Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 Lydman has played a perfect game so far.

I would suggest looking elsewhere. On a side note, love the hitting we are putting on. Kaleta has to be pissed he didn't play in this one.
