LabattBlue Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 1-7-1 in their last 9 with the most recent loss being a spanking by the lowly Hurricanes by a score of 5-1.
carpandean Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 They play the Sabres here shortly and they usually help teams get out of slumps. ;)
Stoner Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I hope the hockey gods don't lurk here. Really whistling past the graveyard there LB, given the Sabres' recent numbers.

Two or less Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Worst scoring team in the league. Bruins have a lot of issues.
NNYSABRESMAN Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Devils have not been real consistant lately either. hoping for 2 points tonight against Vancouver but if not maybe they can get back in the groove against NJ and BOS.
shrader Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Worst scoring team in the league. Bruins have a lot of issues. Their shooting percentage was through the roof last year. That was bound to catch up to them and it did. No team was going to be able to maintain the pace that they had last year.
That Aud Smell Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Then there's Ottawa... my thought exactly -- it's my team i worry about first and foremost (really like to see 2 points tonight) -- that said, i am far more concerned with the ott'wa surge than i am pleased with boston's struggles.
Two or less Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 I don't buy into the Ottawa win-streak at all. The Hawks win was impressive, no doubt. Besides that, they beat up on Boston twice, Montreal, NYR and St Louis. NYR can't score. Boston can't score. When ever two Canadian teams play it's always a good game no matter of records and St Louis is a joke this season. Prior to their "win streak" that everyone is getting so crazy about, they got spanked by Florida. Destroyed by Atlanta and lost badly to Carolina. Not exactly world beaters there yet they couldn't come up with 1 single point against 3 pathetic teams. I just don't see their goaltending holding up and i don't think they have the fire power to consistently keep them in games. 7 points and 3 games inhand is a lot. If Sabres beat them in early Feb, it will be a very tough road for them. Btw, incase people think Ottawa/Sabres will be a close battle, the late March game is part of the Sabres family pack deal. 4 tickets, 4 sodas, 4 hot dogs, 1 popcorn and parking pass for $150. Best deal in town.
X. Benedict Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 So here's a good question: Do we want Dan Paille to score 9 more goals so the Sabres get the conditional 4th round pick? Or do we want the Bruins to miss the postseason altogether?
