ROC Sabres Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Buffalo PP... I smell pommers for some reason.
... Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 I think the good guys have the bad guys a little frustrated, even though the bad guys still have the lead.
nobody Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 OK, let's try the PP again boys. Try the first one again.
Iron Crotch Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Cheating on the Ducks. 2 minutes for cheating!
bob_sauve28 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 According to Kevin Snow, Connolly's current 13-game point streak is now 3rd place in Sabres history. Only Andreychuck (17) and Gil (18) ahead of him.... Surprised LaFontain or Mogilney isn't on the list
Eleven Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 I love the calmness I see in this team while one goal down. Even if they end up losing.
wjag Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 What a period... This game is within reach after two.. Incredible..
Two or less Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 I wonder what team will show up in the 3rd.
VansTheMans Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 If the Sabres moved like they did last night, they can bypass the physical play the Ducks like to bring. However, Buffalo will be tired from last night; they put up a full 60 minutes. They need to score that first goal quick and dictate the flow of the game early on. They'll either need to suck it up and skate like the wind, or fall into a very physical, grinding game against Anaheim. Assuming the Sabres are tired from last night, it'd be in their best interest to avoid a physical match up against the Ducks. They need to move their legs and skate circles around Anaheim. The Sabres should also be sure to crowd the crease and make things difficult for the Ducks goalie. Without Pronger, the Ducks don't have that dominant physical dman to clear things up in the crease. The Sabres need to expose this weakness. Buffalo played one of their best games of the season last night. Here's hoping they continue playing like that. Hmmmm, anyone catch the announcers just saying the exact same thing? B-)
wjag Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 I wonder what team will show up in the 3rd. I have no doubt which team will show up. This team is incredible. Myers is going to get a goal tonight. He had two great chances that period. Buffalo has learned how to play in close games. What they need is an early goal in the 3rd. They get it, there is no way they lose this game. Miller and Offense are going to bail out Lalime..
deluca67 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 3 shots allowed in the second. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the score
repster Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Nice second period. Can't go to bed now. Tuned into the radio broadcast for a bit and liked what I heard. Dan Dunleavy from the FAN590 is pretty good. He did play-by-play for the WJHC.
wjag Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 3 shots allowed in the second. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the score  3 PPs also had something to do with it..
SwampD Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 3 shots allowed in the second. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the score  So wait, it's not all Miller?
jad1 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Did they really make the ice girl clean off the blood? C'mon Anahiem. How much do you tip for something like that?

Miller and Offense are going to bail out Lalime.. Totally agreed. Myers got close once late in the 2nd. I think Derek Roy has been great. On the shift he had that "diving" call i thought he made several great plays and kept that play alive single handily. And I agree, if the Sabres score early in the 3rd, it's lights out in the arrowhead pond or whatever they call this rink nowadays.
Eleven Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 OK. Bed for the third, unfortunately. Goodnight. I see a 6-4 win here. I'll either be late for work tomorrow (and posting on here later) or find out in the am if I'm right. But I hope to drift off to the sweet, sweet sounds of the Anaheim announcers complaining about diving.
repster Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 It was nice to see Tom Webster's avatar in HD on the big screen...
SwampD Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Let's hope Cory Perry cries some more and forgets to play hockey. Someone got under his skin in the second.

I need to be up at 4:15, on the road by 5:00 and drive 180 miles to be where I work tomorrow by 8:00... I'm going to be a mess tomorrow.
Iron Crotch Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Definitely a "lets go Buffalo chant" going at the Honda Center to open the 3rd.
wjag Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 That was a GLORIOUS chance by Connolly on the delayed penalty
cdexchange Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Who can sleep? I need to be up at 4:15, on the road by 5:00 and drive 180 miles to be where I work tomorrow by 8:00... I'm going to be a mess tomorrow. atta boy!
Iron Crotch Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 Getzlaf looks like Massive Headwound Harry.
Doohicksie Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 I love the calmness I see in this team while one goal down. Even if they end up losing. I'd kinda like to see them play with some desperation.
