Eleven Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 What you should have said was,"and oh my god did HE turn on Buffalo when he left...because he saw the state of the Regis owned franchise ahead of the pack and decided that HE would help dig the ditch that the team was headed in. History shows he made sure we didn't get in return his full worth and are still recovering from those years. This is correct (my post in the Trade Target Watch thread says just about the same thing about the consideration coming back to Buffalo), but I don't think he did it out of hatred towards the organization or owneers; he did it because he wanted the team he went to (Detroit) to be as strong as possible. Still towards the Sabs and us fans, though.
Calvin Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Doesn't Hamilton have an issue with pretty much everybody associated with the Sabres? It always seems like he's trying to bait Ruff into saying something or the other that he can twist around.
inkman Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 the gentleman who last year single handedly crusaded to remove Afinegenov from the team Ah, I think this guy named Lindy Ruff wanted no business with Max last year either. Unfortunately, he was handcuffed with an underachieving no hockey IQ having skating savant. Max is and was way more scary than Vanek one on one. 25--16 43--14 36--21 40--17 That is a comparison of Vanek's first 4 years and Max's first 4 complete years. Nuff said.
stenbaro Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 And what did Koharski do? "Don't do that again". I'm right there with you with the blood boiling, rest assured! That said, game 7 should never have happened, and the team was responsible for throwing away that series, not the refs. Yep.I was at game six in Pittsburgh..We were sitting behind the opposite net when Lemieux put in the rebound that came down from the rafters..I still dont understand how the Def could not have anyone on him or jagr who were camped at Haseks doorstep..Those 3 days of hockey were some of the darkest memories of my hockey life...AS time wasw winding down in game six I remember watching Rob Ray at the entrance to the ice mocking the Pen fans getting ready to go on the ice and celebrate..What a jinx.....
shrader Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I saw it live and in person..I almost had a heart attack!!! He caught it and threw it over the glass in his own zone..I was sitting in sec 110 and saw it perfectly..My blood still boils just thinking about it.. Just imagine being the guy who caught that puck. That's the perfect "throw it back" moment right there.
