quikchomp Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I'm not a Miro fan by any stretch, but if the guy somehow sticks around another 2 years, he will likely reach 400 career goals. He's above 350 now, playing on mostly below-average and defensive-minded teams, during the most offensively-restricted era (the "Trap Era") in the history in the NHL. He's had a really nice career, and the Cup was icing on the cake for him. While I agree he had his share of empty net and garbage time goals, he was our only true scorer for a number of years, and is large underappreciated for his time in WNY.
