wjag Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Back in it with a nice Hecht goal Buffalo: :worthy: Atlanta: :censored: :censored: :censored:
sabresnutinphoenix Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 3-1...But, I am not real excited that we can replay the other night...
matter2003 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 even the Hecht goal was totally sloppy... they had a 4 on 1 down low and still had to rely on a rebound after the pass was off target across the net... hopefully that wakes someone up...
SABRESTR Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 i wished atlanta had score 3 in the first period :) that's a little too late now 3-1...But, I am not real excited that we can replay the other night...
darksabre Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Miller is going to lose his mind during intermission. Thank you Adam Mair for making that goal happen. See what happens when you go to the net?
SwampD Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 i wished atlanta had score 3 in the first period :) that's a little too late now Never too late.
SABRESTR Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 let's hope so make em pay for that too many men ...
wjag Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Cellino and Barnes... The holiday season is full of celebration.. if you drink, please don't drive.. if you do, give us all call
deluca67 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I hope this isn't a sign Miller's play is coming back to earth.
matter2003 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 they are so off tonight... even simple drop passes and passes between defensemen aren't on target...
wjag Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I hope this isn't a sign Miller's play is coming back to earth. You'd like that...
SwampD Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I hope this isn't a sign Miller's play is coming back to earth.
Calvin Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I hope this isn't a sign Miller's play is coming back to earth. If this is going to be his only slump this season then I'd like for us to get it out of the way now itself.
matter2003 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I hope this isn't a sign Miller's play is coming back to earth. Miller has been standing on his head....the team has just completely abandoned him tonite... Ruff is going to flip out in the intermission...
darksabre Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 I hope this isn't a sign Miller's play is coming back to earth. If by "coming back down to earth", you mean "getting hung out to dry by his team", then yes.
end the curse Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Wish we would have put that one in just before the horn. We seem to get better as the game gets later, so I don't think it's over yet. Still, it is Atlanta...WTF is with this hold they have on our team? Ottawa I get, but Atlanta makes no sense to me. Not even a division opponent for christ sake and they got in our heads somehow.
matter2003 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 If by "coming back down to earth", you mean "getting hung out to dry by his team", then yes. I will be surprised if the Sabres don't have to replace a lot of the locker room after Ruff gets done throwing things and tearing down the lockers in the room...
deluca67 Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Miller has been standing on his head....the team has just completely abandoned him tonite... Ruff is going to flip out in the intermission... In the last four games Miller gave up 5 against Washington, was steamrolled in the shootout against the Sens, pulled against the Pens and gave up three in the second tonight. If Miller can't carry them they have little chance of winning. The team hasn't "abandoned" Miller. They are playing as they have all season. Can't score or hit and giving up a ton of shots and scoring chances.
SABRESTR Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 5 of the last 6 games between these teams were decided after 60 minutes, maybe another one on the way?
wjag Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 If there is a come back in the offing, the Sabres need an early goal in the third..
SABRESTR Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 then we would not leave it to overtime i think If there is a come back in the offing, the Sabres need an early goal in the third..
R_Dudley Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 they are so off tonight... even simple drop passes and passes between defensemen aren't on target... Look like crap is more like it, playing tentative with no confidence and of course trying to be too cute on the passing again. Need to get the puck deep , on net and crash the net. Bad way/style to start the new year here Sabres''s. Wake up and start playing some NA hockey and stop the figure skating.
wjag Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 then we would not leave it to overtime i think I'm just hoping for a point, somehow, someway..
