Assquatch Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Yep. They are like dry ice, they go directly from a solid to a gas. Yes they are quite sublime.
Sabre Dance Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 After watching the movie Supersize Me, I can't eat that stuff much anymore. Never saw the movie, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that if you only eat food that you know is bad for you, the results won't be good. I'm sure if the guy only ate Hostess cupcakes or Polish sausage, things would have turned out much the same. (By the way, next time you go to the supermarket, take a look at some of the "instant" oriental dinners in the soup aisle - not the frozen ones, but the ones where you add water and microwave for five minutes. The amount of salt (sodium) in them is as high as 1100 mg - that is more than a day's allowance! Same thing with raman noodles...) A steady diet of any one food item isn't good - humans need a variety of foods for good health. Having a Ronnie Mac's Angus burger once every two or three months isn't so bad; if you are eating three a week, I see a prescription for Caduet in your future.
korab rules Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Five Guys burgers and fries. Hard to get much better than that. If you have never been, look for one.
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Yes they are quite sublime.

Stoner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 OK, I loathe McDonalds. I like burgers once in a while. Do I have an ironclad guarantee that if get one, or two, or three of these bad puppies, I am going to like them? What makes them un-McDonalds-like?
shrader Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Does this thread show how we are such fatasses in this town???? 2 pages about eating food, com'on people. . . . And oh yeah, GO SABRES! ! ! It may or may not show that, but this post definitely shows that you're a jackass.
nfreeman Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 It may or may not show that, but this post definitely shows that you're a jackass. Boom goes the dynamite. I will say that "c'mon people" is pretty close to the most annoying thing that a human being can say and/or write.
stenbaro Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009  McDonald's fries are still some of the best out there in terms of the fast food world. :) The Mcdonalds at the corner of colvin and youngs street serve the BEST MCD's fries in the world i might add

shrader Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Wish I had somewhere to complain about this thread, it being Thursday an' all, 'cuz now I want a big plate of fries with gravy. Damn, I wish I had read this before my latest post.
FogBat Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Has to be over 15 years since I had one. Craving is still there but all I remember is the after....Can't do it! Here's further motivation to get away from that kind of junk: go read Jack Lalanne's entry on Wikipedia. There's a reason why a man who's 95 looks like he's in much better shape and countenance than just about everyone who starts on The Biggest Loser.
