ThePebble19 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Memo to Adam Mair. Shut up. You are about to go on the PP. Don't fudge it up by running your yapper for no reason.
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 It's time for this goalie to show why he is the backup to the backup.
ThePebble19 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Our PP has been especially disgusting tonight. What a boring game this has been.
matter2003 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 When will this team stop being afraid and intimidated of playing the Sens? Its getting old rather quickly.
TheMadCap Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Jesus Christ, why do we always play like crap against this #%^$#! team????
JohnRobertEichel Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 We have one of the worst offenses in the league, thanks to: Thomas Vanek Derek Roy Drew Stafford Tim Connolly Jason Pominville Way to not show up this season, pus$ies.
JujuFish Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 So much for my feelings. And so much for 5 game winning streaks. 0-4 after winning 4 in a row now.

rickshaw Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Boy, didn't see that coming at all. :censored:
SabreInFla Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I'm pretty much just not going to watch us play Ottawa anymore. It's a joke at this point.
matter2003 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Boy, didn't see that coming at all. :censored: Us Either... Regards, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, and Sammy Davis, Jr.
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Lindy has no answer for Ottawa. I loves me some open points.
matter2003 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Lindy has no answer for Ottawa. Except in the playoffs... sometimes

First place or not, Regier has to be thinking about shaking up the forward ranks. Or forcing Ruff to hire a PP coach. The latest scheme isn't working either.
LabattBlue Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Game thoughts... - I'll repeat my first intermission comment...AWFUL! - I wouldn't be disappointed if any of the FAB 5(Roy, Connolly, Pominville, Stafford or Vanek) were traded at any point this season or off-season. In fact, I wanted to see this happen this PAST off-season. - McCutcheon should be fired. The PP is a cluster#%^$#!! - The Sabres could not have been more guilty of standing around doing NOTHING on the second Ottawa goal. - If I was Miller, I'd be pissed right now. - Why does Carrie Underwood have such low standards?
Stoner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Yeah the one time we see a BUF player clear the crease its called Of course if you're wiping out someone who isn't in possession, it's interference.
rickshaw Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Honestly. It's so mind boggling how bad we play against Ottawa. Ottawa was awful tonight and yet we get shutout? I say just forfeit the points and rest your players. It's clear we have no answer. 22-6-4 is Ottawa's record against us in the last 32 games. 48 points out of 64 points on the table. OMG!!!! They should have played Lalime tonight. They should have called up some toughness from the farm. They need to do something different against these guys. I'm so frustrated it's not even funny.
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 I will say, if we win Friday, I don't care. Certain teams own certain teams. That's just the way it is. Ottawa owns us. Oh well.

What's equally frustrating is the poor-mouthing Lindy did before this one. It was nigh on scandalous. I'd fire his ass for these comments alone. This is how these streaks get new life. "Miami's just got our number," said Lou Saban.
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Of course if you're wiping out someone who isn't in possession, it's interference. What you just said is so stupid I can't even think right now. This play happens 50 times a game and is NEVER called. It's NOT A PENALTY.
North Buffalo Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 That just sucks. Roy needs to be benched... shoot the @#$@#$ puck. Same with Pommer, wait till a guy gets in front of the net and let it rip.
Eleven Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 This was the first game this season where I really was unable to see even a whole minute; I understand the Sabs lost, and I see the comments, but I would caution against drastic comments. Win four, lose one, is a decent formula. (Then again, I did NOT see it, and if they played the way they did against the Devils, well, let's all get pissed off.) I made it home in time for the post-game show, where Miller was awarded the first star, and whatever anonymity who plays in the Ottawa net was awarded the second. Is this MSG, or is this real? The anonymity had a shutout; give him the gold star.
LabattBlue Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 One other thing... Is our entire offense both 5 on 5 and the PP based on tip drills? It is no surprise that this team is struggling to score goals.
