darksabre Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 There ya go Mair, if you can't beat em, hurt em! This game has gone by boringly fast.
sabresnutinphoenix Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 This They haven't looked this terrible for some time, why is it they decide to play like this gainst ottawa.. Horrible game so far except for Miller. But only 1-0 going into the 3rd...
ThePebble19 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Hmm...and now Mair takes a dumb penalty after the 2nd...Unreal.
iamdannytanner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 charging on mair? i'm running out of fingers to count bs calls tonight
ROC Sabres Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 The fascination with not shooting the puck that this team has is beyond mind-boggling. Ottawa knows we are too pretty to take a 90/10 shot on goal.
ROC Sabres Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 charging on mair? i'm running out of fingers to count bs calls tonight usually gotta go to toes in games against the sens.
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Hmm...and now Mair takes a dumb penalty after the 2nd...Unreal. That was not a penalty. We're due for some make up calls.
iamdannytanner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 usually gotta go to toes in games against the sens. you're tellin' me
Stoner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 That was not a penalty. We're due for some make up calls. Charging in the sense of leaping into an opponent?
JujuFish Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Buffalo's going to win. I can feel it.
Stoner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Tonight we see the other element Ottawa brings to a game with the Sabres that the Sabres almost never bring -- a cruddy player willing to do something nasty to win a game. The Senators actually toy with the Sabres. It's becoming laughable. So go head-shot Alfie. What's the worst thing that can happen?
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Charging in the sense of leaping into an opponent? The ONLY reason it was called is that he re-injured an old injury. That play happens all the time. He had the puck. I repeat, it was NOT A PENALTY.
Stoner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Buffalo's going to win. I can feel it. With a nurse wheeling Kaleta down the ice, flat-lining, he scores the tying shortie?
Stoner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 The ONLY reason it was called is that he re-injured an old injury. That play happens all the time. He had the puck. I repeat, it was NOT A PENALTY. Who had or didn't have the puck doesn't matter. I was just speculating on what the basis for the charging call was.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Monday night I was listening to the Montreal game on my Sirius radio. They were playing the CJAD 800 broadcast. I swear the two mooks were the WORST hockey PBP guys I ever heard. They would sit there and tell stories while the action was in progress. I can hear shots being taken and the crowd cheering and they would be telling old war stories. Then one guy would do 5 seconds of actual PBP. I can't believe Montreal would have such awful hockey announcers, at least on the English side. Thank god for Ric. Buffalo really has the best. PTR

PromoTheRobot Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Super insight on the game! It's between periods. Besides I've been meaning to post that since Monday. PTR
iamdannytanner Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 interference huh? anything so the precious sens can get another goal. oh wait. Miller
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 What exactly was Pominville's penalty?
ROC Sabres Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 why do we always look like the middle school team vs the high school varsity team when we play them? :death:
Rip Titwide Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 What exactly was Pominville's penalty? Yeah the one time we see a BUF player clear the crease its called
SwampD Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 The most frustrating part is that you know it would take only one good chance by the Sabres for this to be evened up.
ThePebble19 Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 The most frustrating part is that you know it would take only one good chance by the Sabres for this to be evened up. This. I would really like to say that they look tired, because at least I could say they were trying, they just didn't have it in them...but this performance is just pitiful.
