Kristian Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Just win, alright? I'm tired of the Sabres being the Sens favorite meal. Win ugly, win big, take it to a shootout, win it in OT, whatever, just friggin' win........
Guest Sloth Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 When I looked at the schedule and saw the Sabres are playing Ottawa tonight, I immediately picked up Alexei Kovalev for my fantasy hockey team. The only reason being the Senators own Buffalo. I hope Kovalev has a -8 tonight, though! I, too, don't care how the Sabres win. Buffalo needs to shut the door on being Ottawa's biitch team.
rbochan Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 ...Win ugly, win big, take it to a shootout, win it in OT, whatever, just friggin' win........

McJeff215 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 This isn't another effing Versus game, is it? I'm getting sick of that.
end the curse Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Must. Beat. Ottawa. Our one, true nemesis. Without this one, the previous four wins will feel awfully hollow and empty. Time for prayer: Please, for the love of God, I'm begging You, show mercy upon our souls, and end our suffering, by blessing us to kick the snot out of Ottawa! ~Amen
wjag Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 I'll be flying during the game tonight. Probably a good thing. Although I do have tix to Ottawa vs Buffalo 26 December. What was I thinking?
Ohiofan Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 This isn't another effing Versus game, is it? I'm getting sick of that. no. no VS tonight. but Monday is...
LabattBlue Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 The Sabres have their way with the Sens tonight. Buffalo 6 Ottawa 2.
CallawaySabres Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 No doubt the Sabres put the hammer down tonight. 5-2
Stoner Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 I don't think it's an exaggeration to call tonight a must win. A loss tonight would render moot the last four victories and could very possibly perhaps send the Sabres into a tailspin that might leave them out of the playoff race by the first of the year.

A loss tonight would render moot the last four victories and could very possibly perhaps send the Sabres into a tailspin that might leave them out of the playoff race by the first of the year. The Sens are without their starting goalie, Spezza and I thought I heard Neal was out. If they can't beat the Sens tonight they never will.
SwampD Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Is it true there there will be no Spezza tonight? EDIT: nevermind, Thanks deluca.
Stoner Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 The Sens are without their starting goalie, Spezza and I thought I heard Neal was out. If they can't beat the Sens tonight they never will. You and Jason Spezza were talking about Harry Neale possibly having the swine flu?
plenzmd1 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 no. no VS tonight. but Monday is... Man, I have missed more Sabres games in the last two weeks than in the last 3 years. Between the Versus crap, holiday obligations, and an away swim meet for the kids last weekend, can't wait for tonights game. What really sucks bout the VS games is they are in HD, and for us out of towners thats a big deal now a days as well. Half my family from Ottawa(the dumb half), and I have bout had enough of their poop last couple of years. Says here Sabres 3-2 in the shootout
wonderbread Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 You and Jason Spezza were talking about Harry Neale possibly having the swine flu? I had to read it twice as well. Poor Harry. Hopefully he is 16 1/2 feet away from the bathroom.
end the curse Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 While I would celebrate with great joy and verve any win over Ottawa, deep down inside I want to lay on them a dominating beat down; both physically and on the scoreboard. If it's wrong to hate, than consider my attitude towards the Sens as wrong as it gets.
mercury Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 I don't think it's an exaggeration to call tonight a must win. No. If the Sabres lose tonight's game, they will not be eliminated.
repster Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 You and Jason Spezza were talking about Harry Neale possibly having the swine flu? Harry Neale or Chris Neil?
Stoner Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 No. If the Sabres lose tonight's game, they will not be eliminated. For all intensive purposes, same difference.
Stoner Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 I had to read it twice as well. Poor Harry. Hopefully he is 16 1/2 feet away from the bathroom. :worthy: Harry is expanding his uncanny analysis into other dimensions. Did anyone notice in a recent game he had the puck 10 feet in the air?
Stoner Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Harry Neale or Chris Neil? Gotta be Harry.
inkman Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 For all intensive purposes, same difference. Your purpose is quite intense. B-)
