Calvin Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 TV had 19:24 minutes of ice-time, 1 shot on goal (plus 3 blocked shots) and an even plus/minus-rating. When Ruff doesn't see TV put in the work the minutes drop down to the 14-16 range by default. TV's doing right by the coach's book, so the minutes/chances/goals will come

Nice to see too and I agree the goals will come.
North Buffalo Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 More proof that Miller is the one winning the games. By those stats, we shouldn't even be close to a playoff pace, and yet here we are. Miro Satan and J.P. Dumont making Vanek, Connolly, Pominville and Roy look like crap. Who'da thunk it? I think that you over credit Miller. I give a lot to the D. Other than Lydman still making no-look passes to the other team, I think the D has carried a lot of the weight, kept a lot of shots to the outside and are clearing rebounds a lot better than last year. They are also skating the puck up a lot more and have gotten involved in the O a lot more. Can't wait till Butler returns so that Lydman can sit. Hank has been unbelievable this year, what a nice surprise. He actually looks like he is trying to imitate Myers moving the puck up ice in ways I have never seen him do...
Stoner Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 I'm going to go w/ Comcast during the playoff and just call and cancel it as soon as they are over. Btw I called Dtv and got a $120 credit and $20 of a month for the next 6. I simply told them since the contract has expired I am a free agent I have decided to go w/ Verizon. They asked me to hold then some somebody came on and offered the deal. Wow, you did well. I wish I had remembered seeing this post. I got free CI for the rest of the season, a free DVR ($400 value and the guy said people actually pay that much for it!) and free DVR service for a year. I did commit to a second year of DVR service at $6 a month, an a penalty for early cancellation, which was probably not a concession I should have made. But I fully expect to enjoy the DVR service enough to want it for a second year. This guy in Retention was very helpful. And he spoke English! But he thought the Versus games were on CI, and he didn't know that some of the playoff games are on Versus.
