wjag Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 This offense has problems. Every time they are around the net and "almost" scoring, it's usually Ellis, Kaleta, Kennedy or Mair. Actually, i think Mair has been the best Sabre forward tonight. The top 2 lines need a major spark. Not sure if that's Nathan Gerbe or if they gotta get someone from outside the organization, but Ruff and Darcy will need to do something to help this offense, until then we're just pretenders. I think Criag Rivet has been pretty weak this season but i think he's having a great game tonight. Very nice hit on Moen but his play in the defensive zone has been impressive. Sure seems like Ellis, Mair, and Kaleta are involved in all the close calls tonight. Mair gets horse collared and hauled down by Brashear and no call. Rivet pushes and shoves on the other end and gets Rudesse call..
Two or less Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Sure seems like Ellis, Mair, and Kaleta are involved in all the close calls tonight. Mair gets horse collared and hauled down by Brashear and no call. Rivet pushes and shoves on the other end and gets Rudesse call.. Welcome to Montreal... lol I love how everytime any Hab falls, their entire crowd is ready to start a riot. I hate them them.
wjag Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 I don't get why two guys drop the gloves to start the second. Mair threw some good punches but that fight faded fast.
HopsGuy Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Will that do anything? Anytime you drop the gloves against a guy named O'Byrne and walk away with all of your teeth (that you started with), that's a win.
ROC Sabres Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 So has the camera man ever covered a hockey game or is he just man-crushing on one of the habs cuz he has no idea where the play is.
ThePebble19 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 The Sabres look very blah tonight...Not doing anything really bad, not doing a lot well, and turning the puck over just enough to make you uncomfortable.
wjag Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Miller has made some big saves. The rebound put back through his leg, off the post and through the crease was a lucky break for Buffalo.
ThePebble19 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 lucky call for us here...we need to capitalize.
wjag Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Buffalo PP .. Georges two minutes of retemu Sekera from the point.. Not a power play but just after time expired under continuation play... Buffalo: :worthy: Montreal: :censored:
HopsGuy Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Yo-Yo setting the screen. Gee-whiz we needed that!
Stoner Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Welcome to Montreal... lol I love how everytime any Hab falls, their entire crowd is ready to start a riot. I hate them them. Damn cheering hockey fans, even cheering after the Sabres scored. Mon dieu, c'est terrible!
Stoner Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 So Montador takes a solid hit and responds with a slash?
ThePebble19 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Sabres have really picked it up since the goal. They need to keep this energy through the third, because Montreal is playing a solid game tonight. All in all, this has been a pretty entertaining game to watch.
ThePebble19 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 So Montador takes a solid hit and responds with a slash? Yep, I thought the same thing...Just like the dumb Gomez penalty just a couple of minutes ago...completely unnecessary.
