Hawk Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Gerbe's out with a groin problem (see article that Eleven linked), so Mark gets the call. Goose is still out, but if Grier is back, then Mair or Ellis is probably sitting (assuming Mancari is, in fact, playing.) Edit: seems Grier will be rejoining the Sabres tonight, but will not be playing. So, Mark will take Gerbe's spot. Mancari was labeled this week by Hamilton, as having no business wearing a NHL sweater
Stoner Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Do you mean this? Paul Hamilton wrote it. Wow. Pissy. And so is Hamilton. Just lost some respect for Paul Hamilton. Isn't he there to serve us, the fans? He sits on information like he claims to have -- that Connolly doesn't practice draws, etc. -- information the fans would like to know and need to know, until such time as Connolly has the audacity to challenge him. Then he throws it in Connolly's face as some kind of punishment? No wonder professional athletes and teams are turning to web sites, blogs, tweets, texts, chirps or whatever the hell the latest technology happens to be. What else does Hamilton keep in his back pocket?

deluca67 Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 NSFW It goes with the porn stash. No wonder Mrs. Hamilton always seems so relaxed.

What else does Hamilton keep in his back pocket? Not reporting that Connolly doesn't stay after practice to work on faceoffs is withholding information? What else should he report that isn't happening?
Stoner Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Not reporting that Connolly doesn't stay after practice to work on faceoffs is withholding information? Of course it is. If it's not newsworthy, why did Hamilton bring it out now?
Assquatch Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Of course it is. If it's not newsworthy, why did Hamilton bring it out now? Because now it's relevant. That he quit taking them rather than working harder on them.
DonInBuffalo Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Grier Paetsch Gerbe are the scratches. Mark Mancari got called up. I have Time Warner in Buffalo and the game is on channel 700. It's the Rangers feed, but they'll probably switch to the Sabres announcers for the actual game.

My "Favorites" were wiped out and I forget what they were. Thanks in advance.
cdexchange Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Oh great, this is another one of those away games that we were promised would be in HD but of course isn't. Has anyone from the organ-eye-zation addressed this yet? I've heard zilch about it.

SwampD Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Myers looks really tired out there. He won't be leading in ice time tonight.
Kristian Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Myers looks really tired out there. He won't be leading in ice time tonight. But Tallinder needs to hustle more on the initial clear to the corner.
Assquatch Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Neale: The Sabres' penalty killing has been superb! Jeanneret: They score!
Kristian Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Well that game went south pretty quick.... All Rangers right now.
Kristian Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 And just as I type that, Kaleta gets one.
ROC Sabres Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Well that game went south pretty quick.... All Rangers right now. Still is south to me. Buffalo is playing sloppy right now. Good goal by Kaleta but a juicy rebound. Hopefully there are more rebounds to come that nice.
SwampD Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Certainly no goalies duel, but pretty entertaining so far.
Stoner Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 Because now it's relevant. That he quit taking them rather than working harder on them. He quit taking faceoffs a couple of weeks ago.
Stoner Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 How is that not a penalty on Brashear late. He punched Kaleta. Refs enforcing The Code? And how did Vanek miss!?
ROC Sabres Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 How is that not a penalty on Brashear late. He punched Kaleta. Refs enforcing The Code? And how did Vanek miss!? Kaleta is gonna line up avery tonight. I got a good feeling.
ROC Sabres Posted December 13, 2009 Report Posted December 13, 2009 I was about to ask when the last time buffalo scored a shortie.
