Looking for motivation for tonight?

Consider this lifted from the NHL Preview section

Season series: This is the first meeting of the season between the intrastate Eastern Conference rivals. Buffalo won three of the four games last season, the Rangers winning the finale on March 21, 5-3. Had Buffalo won that game and swept the series, the teams would have had identical records and the Sabres would have qualified for the Stanley Cup Playoffs instead of the Rangers. Buffalo leads the all-time series with a 67-53-26-3 record.

[Lips moving out of sync with words]

Their Drury-style intangibles are strong, but our Grier-style intangibles will defeat them!!

Good call. Hope Lindy saw this and posted it in the dressing room. I'm glad Drury has recovered from his concussion... hate the Rangers but I don't want to see him go the way of LaFontaine. Is it just me or is it weird to think of him centering the third line on any team (see link)?

Would you really have wanted the Sabres to spend $7.5MM x 5 years on a guy who gets hurt as much as Connolly does?

Your post is the one I was waiting for. When is the last time Gaborik has played more than 65 games? I have no dislike for the guy. I simply hope the Sabres prevent him from scoring and win the game tonight. Avery is the player I have no care for. It would be great if he got drilled tonight.

Sabres are rolling, Rangers are not. 'nuff said..

+1

Really? Worse than the Sens or Cryers?

As bad or more for me too because of my trash a$$ talking Long Island brother-in-law who talks sh!t anything Bflo because he know's it bugs me and my family. :pirate:

I am looking forward to decorating the tree while watching Kaleta decorate HSBC ice or boards with a couple of Rangers. I hope the team is ready to respond to that POS Avery as I fully expect to see him run Miller any chance he gets around the net.

Should be a good game, Rangers with 4 days rest and Tort's will have them amped up to play where he began his coaching career. No time for let down Bflo, come out prepared from the first FO and let's smoke Lundquist and the Rangers.

They're looking a little lazy tonight. Buffalo that is. Avoiding saying WE

I'm only listening online, but based on RJ's call your comment seems premature. (c;

The Frozen Four line and the Roy line look to be buzzing. The Frozen Four was giving the Rangers fits

Just a few plays looked lazy. They look like they are getting into it now.

I have premature commentation and I'm not ashamed.

does anyone know what our records in original jerseys are these past couple of seasons?

I know I remember seeing someone write about that last year but I can't seem to find it anymore...

I like the flow in this one. Sabres are going to get a goal.. You can feel it coming.

They are dominating zone possession..
