Everyone is, rightfully so, harping on Quinn and Regier. But doesn't the buck stop up top?

Galisano appears to be getting off easy in this discussion. The guy is supposedly worth billions. Yet he appears more focussed on the expenses of other things, such as his political future, than spending some bucks on his team. It's sort of deja vu under a name other than Rigas. Plus, Galisano is supposedly a hot shot businessman. Yet he hasn't gotten the message, which emanates strongly from various quarters, that his top managers are less than well thought off.

Perhaps the wool has been pulled over his eyes. Or perhaps he's one of those owners who just doesn't care, as long as he has his toy and is a member of the ownership club.

It's unfortunate and sad. Hopefully, there will be a wake up call. But how long will that take and at what cost to the fans?

Perhaps Tom should be introduced to a fellow named Ralph.

Does the name Bob Rich ring a bell?

This stuff with the Sabres is nothing new. The only thing new is that they don't

bother to do a good job lieing about it.

The sabres have made it clear that the top priority is grabbing the revenue

sharing money. Which means staying under 29 million in salaries.

At least theydidnt tell the taxpayers they have every intention of bringing

in a major league baseball team as a way to get a new stadium to make

a load of money.

Between the lines they are expressing thier true intent in saying not to expect

top return on your ticket dollars. That's something for fans in other cities.

Revenue sharing is given based on the revenue of the team for the season. I believe the lower the payroll the less % they would get.
