I knew it was a good move, trading him awhile back.

I guess that's one of the very few good moves the Wizard of Oz has made.

Well, at least we know where you get your news from... <_<

It is one of many sites I read. I don't limit myself in that area. Plus it's not what read it's what I choose to believe that's more important.

WOW.

What a total jerk...second swing...skating away...SKATING AWAY! How the hell did he do that? How do you not check on your team mate after that? Sheesh.

Agreed. How do you hit your goalie in the head, see him flat down on the ice and at least not check to see if he's ok? That's stunning. There didn't seem to be a swarm of players looking after their goalie either, maybe just one or two...Maybe they all don't care too too much about him or thought he was faking it.

The goalie went down like he was shot or something. Hasek used to stop the puck with his head on purpose...Plus the stretcher? That might have been the weirdest sequence of events I ever saw in hockey. Maybe it was the unexpectedness of it all that made everyone screw up at the same time. Reminds me when I was a kid and someone got mad in a pickup baseball game after striking out and threw his bat at the catcher. This might be Ballard's claim to fame,

unfortunately for him and I don't think he's going to stop hearing about it either.

What's so bad about the Huff? It can't be any worse than any other news outlet.

Had it been from TSN, I wouldn't have said a word about the news source. Now I'm getting ganged up on because I called nucci's bluff.

As for The Huffington Post, that's not necessarily the most objective source of news out there and everyone knows it. It all boils down to the company you keep (but we're digressing here).

The source of the story was the Associated Press.

Not ganging up on you and I did not take offense but is there a really objective news source anymore?

I actually believe there is, but it's getting harder to find. Having said that, this horse is dead and I'm done with beating it.

Back to the topic at hand, I just cannot understand what was going through Keith Ballard's head at that time. Maybe he was numb in the head over the shock of what he had done.
