jwcolour Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 A few tough teams in there 7 points and i'd be happy with that.
LabattBlue Posted December 6, 2009 Author Report Posted December 6, 2009 2 out of 4 points so far with the 3 tougher games coming next week.
LabattBlue Posted December 9, 2009 Author Report Posted December 9, 2009 2 out of 6 points so far! :(
Stoner Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 My fairly pessimistic 2-2-1 is looking really good right now.
LabattBlue Posted December 9, 2009 Author Report Posted December 9, 2009 My fairly pessimistic 2-2-1 is looking really good right now. That may be fairly optimistic at this point. How sad is it, when you lose two of your grinders and the whole team falls apart.
wonderbread Posted December 9, 2009 Report Posted December 9, 2009 I think sweeper's in row 2? I was on the end of row 2 the lady in front of me wasn't happy about my language nor was she pleased about the beer I spilled in her hair.
carpandean Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 2-2-0 so far. Not great, but given the teams on the list, four to six points isn't terrible. Definitely wasn't expecting two tonight.
Two or less Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Watching Hawks vs. NYR right now and in the 3rd NYR are up 1-0. Chicago may be one of the most entertaining hockey teams i've seen in a long time. They move the puck so well, they get so many chances each game and their PP is unreal. Lundqvist is playing just like he did in Buffalo few days ago and has stoned Hawks several times. The Hawks fire power is unbelievable. If Sabres don't show up and if Miller isn't on his game as he was tonight, it may be another long night....
Two or less Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Marion Hossa just scored to tie it with 5:55. They must have had like 20 great chances since i began watching early in the 2nd period.

Would it be against Chicago, a non-conference opponent?
Two or less Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Lalime is definitely going to get a game this weekend, if you listen to Lindy. Would it be against Chicago, a non-conference opponent? Either of the two games will be difficult to win. Both the Hawks and NYR smoked Lalime last year.
carpandean Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Nice rebound, beating two of the best teams in the league, including one win with the backup in, to finish with 6 of 10 possible points. Not too shabby.
Calvin Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 Nice rebound, beating two of the best teams in the league, including one win with the backup in, to finish with 6 of 10 possible points. Not too shabby. With that schedule, I'd settle for 6/10. I am even more encouraged from the rebound in performance than anything else - we hit a low point with the way we played against the Devils, and instead of getting mired in another 3-4 game (maybe longer..) slump, they came out blazing against two of the top teams in the league and pulled out W's in both. Excellent effort boys, keep it up!
LabattBlue Posted December 12, 2009 Author Report Posted December 12, 2009 Considering they beat the two toughest teams on the homestand(using Lalime in one of wins games), 6 out of 10 is not bad. The good...8 goals against. The bad...12 goals for, with 6 of them coming in one game.
