wonderbread Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Good for you. I don't care either way, but I like tennis. Don't you? Tennis was just a reason to poke at the fake Mike Schopp.
ROC Sabres Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Tennis was just a reason to poke at the fake Mike Schopp. Touche
wjag Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Back into first place.. At least for a night or so...
ROC Sabres Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 And Miller gives the stick to the photographer. Nice move.
Eleven Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Nah, there's no reason for the Leaves to pull the goalie, and there's no reason for the Sabres to sacrifice a shutout. I'm betting 3-0, final. And yet, they did. Wow, Toronto just gets dumber by the day. Didn't affect the game, but down by three? What, exactly, did Toronto hope to achieve?

bob_sauve28 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 The Ryaninator gets the shut out. Time to start that clock of consecutive shut out minutes that they use to always have for Hasek.

What, exactly, did Toronto hope to achieve? How is it dumb to pull the goalie? They should have done it sooner. Every once in a blue moon, you can score three goals in a hurry to tie a game. The other option is called quitting.

ROC Sabres Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 OT kinda - I think OV should have a suspension after the kneeing he had tonight with the 5 minute major also.
wonderbread Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Miller is a stoudt mofo! Hank with the goal strikes me as random. Is he shooting more?
bob_sauve28 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Classy move by Miller. They interviewed him in the second intermission and he said that it was his own mistake that led to him making that amazing save against Carolina. Glad he is humble, too. He's the star athelete of the city now.
Stoner Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Tennis was just a reason to poke at the fake Mike Schopp. I was driving today and had to listen to something to keep me from nodding off, and so it was Schopp and the Bulldog. My god, is there a more arrogant, condescending, effeminate, faux-intellectual than Schopp? I feel and pray for Chris Parker. Having to play second fiddle to that penis.
bob_sauve28 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 It's 5+ periods now... That's over 100 minutes! :worthy:
matter2003 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Miller is turning into a brilliant re-signing by Regier... Miller lowered his NHL leading GAA and save percentage to 1.83 and .937... Sabres play a ho-hum game and take the W.....
biodork Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I'm glad Kaleta will be eligible to play again on Thursday. I know Lindy doesn't like to change the lineup when they are winning, but I gotta think either Ellis or Paetsch are coming back out to make room for him.

I think Kaleta is more of a threat offensively than Paetsch is... and he hits people.
biodork Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Yeah the Caruba Collision isn't the same without him. (c: Just saw that Miller's save on Brindamour Sat. night is #1 on NHL.com's saves of the week (rightly so).
The_Swannie_House Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 LOL. I turned them on to hear some positive stuff on the way back to PA last night, and within 5 minutes, I turned it off...how they could hate something in such a positive game is beyond me. clearly, you don't understand sportsmanship. Fewell needs to know when to call off the dogs!
bob_sauve28 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 clearly, you don't understand sportsmanship. Fewell needs to know when to call off the dogs! HA HA HA!! Too funny!

My god, is there a more arrogant, condescending, effeminate, faux-intellectual than Schopp? I feel and pray for Chris Parker. Having to play second fiddle to that penis. Holy crap, THIS. T.H.I.S. I can't stand that dude. So, having Direct TV, I had to hook the laptop up to the big TV and watch the Sportsnet feed. The Sportsnet announcers, while being homers, were also completely complimentary to the Sabres all night long. It was interesting to hear these guys play up the Sabres - which, I know, was one way to make the Leaf's loss a little easier to swallow for their fans, but still...
The_Swannie_House Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 btw tennis is gay. Only a guy who got cut from his HS team would make those remarks
biodork Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Yikes, if you didn't see / hear this already, check this out: http://www.nhl.tv/team/console.jsp?id=52953 What a bonehead move, Vokoun is being treated for a deep cut to his ear (ouch) -- good thing he had his helmet on!
