R_Dudley Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 What no thread yet. Guess I'll start. Getting ready to hit the road for the drive to the Bflo and head to the game tonight. 2nd of back to backs for both teams. Watched Canes lose to Hotlanta last night hope they play like they did in the 3rd last night the were up 4-1 and lost. Sabres are the better team and they better play like it because I will be loud and proud and possibly plowed and will let them know if they don't. Go Sabres.
Hawk Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Go Sabres! Gaustad big loss for the blue and gold. Roy and Connelly need to step it up on the faceoffs. Lalime tonight?
Stoner Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Miller starts, per the Buffalo News. And the beat goes on...
tulax Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Miller starts, per the Buffalo News. And the beat goes on... Unbelievable, I can't wait to see Miller at the end of the regular season. I just hope exhaustion doesn't lead to injury. I commend Ruff for making the Team Canada coaching staff, which cements him as one of the better coaches in the league. I am, however, sick of him blatantly lying to the media when he says he has confidence in Lalime. I hope this "desperation" talk doesn't get stale when February and March role around.

I'm ok with Miller tonight if Lalime goes Monday against the Leaves.
tulax Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 I'm ok with Miller tonight if Lalime goes Monday against the Leaves. Why start Lalime against a division rival away from home when he could play tonight, giving Miller rest after a tough game yesterday, against a team with 5 wins on the season?
Eleven Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Why start Lalime against a division rival away from home when he could play tonight, giving Miller rest after a tough game yesterday, against a team with 5 wins on the season? The games are interchangeable IMO. Toronto only has six wins on the season. Let Miller ensure the two points at home and give the home fans, many of whom have traveled here, what they want to see. I wouldn't be bitching if it were the other way around, though. Like I said, I see these games as interchangeable. But Lalime needs to start one of them.
deluca67 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Why start Lalime against a division rival away from home when he could play tonight, giving Miller rest after a tough game yesterday, against a team with 5 wins on the season? You play Miller at home because you want to give your fans their moneys worth. I couldn't imagine spending a couple hundred dollars on tickets and all the rest to sit down and have to watch Lalime play goal. Hopefully the edge the Sabres played with last night caries over.
nucci Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 You guys complain Lalime sucks then in the same breath complain because Miller is playing.

Lalime just looks like he's fallen completely off the table.
deluca67 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 You guys complain Lalime sucks then in the same breath complain because Miller is playing. It all falls under the need for the Sabres to find a backup goalie.
nucci Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 It all falls under the need for the Sabres to find a backup goalie. I understand that. However,in November there has been enough off days to rest Miller. I know the rest of the schedule gets a bit tight.
McJeff215 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 Can we start sticking the date in the Game Discussion Thread title? When there are lots of games all jammed together it's hard guess which one is right on the front page. Not a big deal at all, but would make life a bit easier.
deluca67 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 I understand that. However,in November there has been enough off days to rest Miller. I know the rest of the schedule gets a bit tight. I'm with you. I don't know why Lalime started the games he did.
bob_sauve28 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 It all falls under the need for the Sabres to find a backup goalie. Back up goalies are back ups because they are not good enough to be starters, so when they don't play for two weeks and come in and suck, that's just how it goes
bob_sauve28 Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 I hate the fact the Canes have not won on the road......yet
shrader Posted November 28, 2009 Report Posted November 28, 2009 So is anyone up to replace Kaleta/Gaustad or does Paetsch go in at forward tonight along with Ellis' return to the lineup?
G-Daddy Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 anyone have link to watch on computer try the adthe link
K-9 Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Myers looking every bit like the 19 year old rookie he is. Tough period for him. Good move by Lindy to get him right back out there. I look for him to atone. GO SABRES!!!
Stoner Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Does Lindy really tell his team not to take other teams lightly, or is that just said for public consumption? Looks like Michael Leighton is poised to join the pantheon of One Night Hall of Famers who've tended goal against the Sabres.
