tulax Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 way too many extra passes.. first vanek.. and then connolly.. gah!! Its hard to outfox the wily Emery, if only he let in soft goals. (That was sarcastic)
novascotiaguy Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 wow Miller has really brought his A-game today.. what a save!!! There is not to many nights miller don't bring his a game
Eleven Posted November 27, 2009 Author Report Posted November 27, 2009 Carcillo is such a greasy little punk. Awesome that Rivet taught him a little lesson after that second fight. Looking forward to round three.
Calvin Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 There is not to many nights miller don't bring his a game That is true, especially this season. The way we've been playing it could have been much much uglier were he not as sharp as he has been.
Calvin Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Its hard to outfox the wily Emery, if only he let in soft goals. (That was sarcastic) That last game we beat the Flyers, Emery seemed to fall asleep while a lot of the play was in the Sabres zone. This one's been more end-to-end and is keeping him awake.
roth7849 Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Starting the third on a powerplay, can do something with our powerplay twice in one game?
... Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Hopefully Ruff will point out WHY Stafford scored his goal. He brought it all the damn way to the net and ignored the passing "option".
Stoner Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Carcillo is such a greasy little punk. Awesome that Rivet taught him a little lesson after that second fight. Looking forward to round three. I thought it was pretty even. But a good fight, a rarity in Sabres games. This is a good game. I think I like afternoon games. But I hate having to eat dinner later. What a brutal day for the refs.
shrader Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 That was probably the most entertaining period of the season. This is the kind of game that wakes up a real team. Now we just have to wait and see if this is actually a real hockey team.
R_Dudley Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Now that was period of hockey I haven't seen from this team in awhile. Still need to stop being so cute and bury these chances. This team is just too happy most of the time playing the perimeter and just not enough fighting their way through the paint. Okay boy's like Timmy said just need to win one period.. Oh and Timmy you could be that man if you would come off the boards to center and shot more. Go Bflo.
Calvin Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 compared to some of the second periods we have played lately, this was a much better effort.

Stoner Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Did Kaleta get a game misconduct for that? I never heard the explaination from Rick. F'ing bull if so because he was finishing his check!! You can finish your check and still board someone.
Stoner Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 I have center ice on directv. Is anyone else missing the score/clock bar at the top of the screen??? Yeah, it's been off and on. I've really enjoyed not having it. I know the score and could guess the time within a minute or so. From a ratings point of view, you'd think they would want people to stick around to see the score. But I do like the idea of the score and time being put up for a minute or so several times a period. How do you deal with power plays though? Maybe a little clock insert, like the old days.
Calvin Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 ok.. someone has to explain to me how that was not a high sticking penalty??
Calvin Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 Timmy!!! good things happen when Timmy shoots.. great play there go high on Emery.. he gave up a juicy rebound on a high shot on the next shift after the goal.. once again the forwards were overpursuing..

darksabre Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 ok.. someone has to explain to me how that was not a high sticking penalty?? because no one saw it...
roth7849 Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 And that's why they tell Timmy "less passing, more shooting"... good things happen when Connolly can do that.
Eleven Posted November 27, 2009 Author Report Posted November 27, 2009 THERE's some nice breathing room.
darksabre Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 I don't think I've heard RJ this excited in a while.
Calvin Posted November 27, 2009 Report Posted November 27, 2009 THERE's some nice breathing room. finally we get some bounces going our way.. now we need to kill this PP off..
