carpandean Posted March 8, 2010 Author Report Posted March 8, 2010 Oh my god, you're over here making predictions too! I hope you're as wrong about this Sabres prediction as you were about all the other things you've predicted. (LOVE LOVE LOVE the Miller lacks 3D vision thread.) Don't worry: I'm not stalking you. Just pained me to see that you think the Sabres would pull out of the nosedive. So, wait, you hope that they don't pull out of the nose dive? Also, you wait to post this until after they've gone 2-0 since his prediction? Weird.
John Adams Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 So, wait, you hope that they don't pull out of the nose dive? Also, you wait to post this until after they've gone 2-0 since his prediction? Weird. Ha...guess I meant to say I hope he's right on this one unlike the million other times he's been wrong. I'm a "winner" if he's right this time so why would I care about the timing? I don't want him to be wrong (for a change).
carpandean Posted March 11, 2010 Author Report Posted March 11, 2010 So, do I bother to expand the axis to follow Washington? Up, up, and away!
wjag Posted March 11, 2010 Report Posted March 11, 2010 So, do I bother to expand the axis to follow Washington? Up, up, and away! I vote yes. It's going to make their playoff crash that much more meaningful... ;)
John Adams Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Always a pleasure to see you. At least you were half right. You're old catch phrase "resistance level" should have been the tip that your Flyers prediction would be way off. Go Sabres. Up up and away.
carpandean Posted March 12, 2010 Author Report Posted March 12, 2010 Take it outside, you two.
spndnchz Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Would it be a pain in the a$$ to make these for the West Conf?
carpandean Posted March 12, 2010 Author Report Posted March 12, 2010 Would it be a pain in the a$$ to make these for the West Conf? Unless somebody writes some code to import the game-by-game results, I'd have to go one team at a time. It wouldn't be terrible, but not something that I have the time for right now. SDS talked about automating them, so maybe he has the means to do it more easily.
spndnchz Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Just to note, Caps have clinched their division title. Going for the 100th point of the season tonight vs. Tampa Bay. I say don't bother expanding the chart, they already made it in.

I say don't bother expanding the chart, they already made it in. I was watching some game (can't remember which one), and I heard that Washington started 96 shots on net against Dallas. 96!!!
Mbossy Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 Well, at least we had late Dec, early Jan. Here comes Montreal...

You're old catch phrase "resistance level" should have been the tip that your Flyers prediction would be way off. Go Sabres. Up up and away. Dwight: Please do us all a favor and STOP predicting Sabres wins and win streaks.
carpandean Posted March 25, 2010 Author Report Posted March 25, 2010 I don't feel like redoing these charts, so add 1 point to Pittsburgh. I had their last two games (before tonight) both as regulations losses, but the first one was an OT loss. It will be corrected after the Sabres-Ottawa game.

Do people still go to Leaves fansites? Why? The trade deadline is over, and the draft isn't for a while.
Chemich Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 Do people still go to Leaves fansites? Why? The trade deadline is over, and the draft isn't for a while. Exactly. This is why I'm wondering if someone would get banned or not.

I just updated the charts, so that attachment is now dead. For reference, here's the current one: http://forums.sabrespace.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=1933 It may get me banned in a Toronto forum, but it would get me a ticker-tape parade in Boston.
SwampD Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 My job is nearly done: If I stare at that long enough will I see a pirate ship or something?
shrader Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 My job is nearly done: I had forgotten how horribly Toronto and Carolina started the year.
SwampD Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 I had forgotten how horribly Toronto and Carolina started the year. and that one loss from 46 to 66 for Washington is pretty crazy too.
shrader Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 and that one loss from 46 to 66 for Washington is pretty crazy too. Yeah, even looking at the tiny thumbnail version in carps post, I can easily pick out Washington and Ottawa.
SwampD Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Yeah, even looking at the tiny thumbnail version in carps post, I can easily pick out Washington and Ottawa. Another thing I noticed looking at Carp's chart, the Sabres are pretty ####### good.
