BillHoppe Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 http://www.sabrespace.com/buffalo-sabres/article/mancari-regrets-holding-out/ I never knew he had such a heavy shot... It was at the 2007-08 AHL All-Star skills competition. His shot's a monster. In my opionion, it would probably rank in the top three or four in the NHL.
inkman Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 I find it incredulous that almost every poster here thought he was nuts for holding out, then come to find out, he regrets the whole thing. If a bunch of non-players on the outside looking in, can figure out your situation, why didn't he?

If a bunch of non-players on the outside looking in, can figure out your situation, why didn't he? What was really crazy, is that you don't hold out unless you have a shred of leverage, at the very least. AHL players, especially those unable to crack the lineup at the big club, have NO leverage whatsoever.
