Stoner Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 I think he would say, "Does this really deserve its own thread?"
inkman Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 At least he danced. It was ugly but he acted like he cared. More than I can say about most of his teammates.

Bmwolf21 Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 At least he danced. It was ugly but he acted like he cared. More than I can say about most of his teammates. +1
carpandean Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 He got mugged. Stuart thumped him on the head and he never had a chance to get into it. Not saying that he would have won, be he was never given a chance.
wjag Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 At least you have a job and a guaranteed salary.
SabresFan526 Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 The Sabres lost all three fights on Saturday night, but two of the fights they never even had a chance. Thornton totally jumped Gaustad on a clean hit, which is total BS. Had Thornton actually manned up and allowed Gaustad to fight him square, Goose would have crushed Thornton, and there's no doubt in my mind about that. Same problem with Hecht's fight. First, he doesn't fight much, and second, he totally had no chance. Stuart dropped his gloves and started pounding while Hecht did not even get a chance. While Hecht does not fight much, let's not forget that he crushed Lecavalier last year in Tampa and gave him a black eye. It's not as though Hecht could not beat up Stuart, it was a totally unfair and cowardly fight by Stuart and the Bruins in general on Saturday. Both of the fights above were that way where the Sabres players had no chance. Montador lost fair and square, and frankly he's a terrible fighter, but at least he's willing to fight when called upon to do so.
R_Dudley Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 I'm sure it would be colorful. Okay didn't see that until today, Nice impression of a punching bag. At least he danced. It was ugly but he acted like he cared. More than I can say about most of his teammates. I'll give him that, although I don't like using your stick like that "2 hand cross check up high on Stuart", not that he had much on it. I do wish our team would react like Stuart did when other teams players do something like that...
