SteamRoller72 Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 I can't find anything on Lalime's status. Not sure if he's been hit by the flu bug or the rumors about his groin troubles are true. Can anyone find a link on Lalime's health? http://www.facebook.com/BufSabres?v=feed&story_fbid=171282021988
repster Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 It's on the WGR website as well. Same potential issues mentioned. They said they will confirm when they know more.
spndnchz Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 It's groin. "We're going to stick to the program. By the weekend, if Patty isn't ready to play, there's a good chance Jhonas would play." said Lindy. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/2009/11/lalime-hurt-enroth-called-up.html
Calvin Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 "We're going to stick to the program. Then again, what else could Lindy say. Isles, Flyers, Bruins.. with the way the B's are playing, maybe that is the best game to put Enroth in.
novascotiaguy Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Just wondering if this is good news or bad ??
Stoner Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Where is the "gone for a while" part coming from?
darksabre Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 god I wish we could have kept Tellqvist.
nfreeman Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Since Portland is dead last in the AHL in GA, and Enroth's numbers are lousy, it's hard to see how Enroth can be an improvement over Lalime. But anything is possible.
novascotiaguy Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Where is the "gone for a while" part coming from? There is no timetable for him to come back so he may be gone for a while

novascotiaguy Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 but...but...Lalime is the worst backup in the NHL. <_< He is not very good. But also Ruff needs to be better at handling the back up.
spndnchz Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 why are there 2 threads on this? Mods are sleeping in. Oh wait, ur a mod right? :w00t:
spndnchz Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Where is the "gone for a while" part coming from? Nova Scotia apparently... I'm confused. Why did LaLime go to Nova Scotia?
JujuFish Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Thanks Coach Obvious.. with 3 games in 4 days obviously Miller's not going to play all three. You don't know Ruff, do you? He did it 5 times last year.

nucci Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 He is not very good. But also Ruff needs to be better at handling the back up. How would you handle a back up goalie who's not very good? If it was me, I wouldn't play him very much.
2ForTripping Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 How would you handle a back up goalie who's not very good? If it was me, I wouldn't play him very much. How would I handle it? I'd tell my GM to stop shopping in the blue light special aisles and go out and get me a solid back up net minder. But then again we are talking about OSP and Darcy.
SHAAAUGHT!!! Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 This may answer the questions many were asking regarding Miller starting last Saturday. Maybe Lalime wasn't ready to go...
LabattBlue Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Since Portland is dead last in the AHL in GA, and Enroth's numbers are lousy, it's hard to see how Enroth can be an improvement over Lalime. But anything is possible. Not seeing any of Portland's games combined with the fact that they have a lot of inexperience on the blueline, it is hard to tell how poor Enroth is playing versus the team in front of him.
