LabattBlue Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091029/ap_on_re_af/piracy Hey dumbasses...there is a whole lot of open water around the world for you to cruise on, but you decide to go for a cruise in the area being terrorized by Somalia pirates? I could understand the need for commercial vessels to be in these waters, as they rely on these shipping lanes to move product back and forth, but WTF were these two thinking? Maybe I'll follow their lead and take a stroll through the worst part of the east side of Buffalo tonight waving 1000's of dollars in my hands as I walk down the street. Think anything will happen to me?
MattPie Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 "We probably won't have satellite phone coverage until we're fairly close to the African coast, so we may be out of touch for some time," they wrote. WTF kind of satellite phone are they using that doesn't work unless they're near land?
