SDS Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 http://www.sabrespace.com/buffalo-sabres/article/stafford-hopes-to-leave-inconsistent-play-in-past/ Ruff believes Stafford is a “captain-type person.” Stafford, who loathes talking about himself, was stunned to hear that. yeah, me too!
wonderbread Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 http://www.sabrespace.com/buffalo-sabres/article/stafford-hopes-to-leave-inconsistent-play-in-past/ yeah, me too! easy mouse potato. You'll get the board in a frenzy.
LabattBlue Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I'll settle for 25 goals and no prolonged slumps where he attempts to be the new poster boy for suckiness. :D
nfreeman Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I will say that I found him noticeably less cocky and annoying in his interview after the TB game the other night -- and that was definitely an opportunity to be full of himself.
SwampD Posted October 28, 2009 Report Posted October 28, 2009 I've always liked Stafford. I like his cockiness. I like that he is in a band. I didn't like when there was talk of him being traded. I think he is only going to get better and getting big goals at big times is what we have been missing (not that game 8 against Tampa is a big game but hey, it's a start).
