inkman Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 And if you're at a bar trying to watch Sportscenter, you probably need more of a life. Bars have tvs for a reason. :(
Stoner Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 Bars have tvs for a reason. What else are they going to do all winter, just sleep?
Eleven Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 But with their crawl at the bottom of the screen, you can still see news headlines & score updates. And if you're at a bar trying to watch Sportscenter, you probably need more of a life. If you're at a bar for the purpose of watching Sportscenter, and it's not lunchtime, you probably do need a life.
shrader Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009  :( Bars have tvs so that people can watch them. Random games serve that purpose quite well. The problem I was mentioning earlier is when they leave the tv on sportscenter since it's mostly talk now. It's generally a loud setting in the bar and the tvs are muted. What exactly is the purpose? I guess there are those hours where no sport is on anywhere, but it always seems to be sportscenter when I'm there regardless of what time it is.
spndnchz Posted October 26, 2009 Report Posted October 26, 2009 And I still hate the fact that MTV doesn't show videos. Personall, I LOVE Palladia, channel 760 on TWC. The play all those unplugged, live shows. They just had Dave Matthews band on over the weekend, Sugarland (hey, I'm a chick), Alanis Morissette and stuff. Sound and vid is Awesome.
