North Buffalo Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Vanek still out... though not a surprise given they won the other night.
wjag Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Thrashers PP... Too many men on the ice The Sabres killer Kovalchuk from the slot Buffalo: Trashers: :censored:
North Buffalo Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 1-0 Atlanta from too many on the ice penalty.... nuts... Kovalchuk.
SabreInFla Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 I've pretty much written this game off due to the Lalime start.
North Buffalo Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Not Lalime's fault, and Atlanta is outskating the Sabres right now.
ThePebble19 Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 We are looking sloppy tonight thus far. Don't have a great feeling about this one...
PromoTheRobot Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Heck of a shot by Kovulchuk. Lalime alreadt stopped him once point blank. PTR
SabreInFla Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Not Lalime's fault, and Atlanta is outskating the Sabres right now. I realize that, but we always seem to struggle with this team and Lalime can't steal one like Miller can.
wjag Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Kovalchuk got another... Myers turnovers Buffalo: Trashers: :censored: :censored:
SabreInFla Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Put Miller in.......we need a spark.
North Buffalo Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 2-0 shoot Kovalchuk, Meyers give away... nuts after a sloppy icing.
North Buffalo Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Timeout Sabres, Ruff yelling, doesn't look happy.
tulax Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Can someone explain Lindy's wisdom of breaking up a great line like the Hecht-Kennedy-Grier line in order to replace Paille with Hecht on the top line? What Ruff sees in Hecht I will never know, but he is certainly not a top line player.
JujuFish Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Oh look, Buffalo underperforming while Lalime is in the net. Surprise, surprise.
tulax Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Oh look, Buffalo underperforming while Lalime is in the net. Surprise, surprise. Haha, blame it on the goalie. Unbelievable how much this team has changed since the Detroit game. Last night seemed to be a transition back to last year.
Strow Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Two things that are clear to me the lines stink right now hecht one the first line come on. Second they aren't moving at all the forwards just look like they don't care tonight. Not moving and they are already up ice when the D has the puck behind the net.
JujuFish Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Haha, blame it on the goalie. Unbelievable how much this team has changed since the Detroit game. Last night seemed to be a transition back to last year. Why would you want to blame it on the goalie? The team in front of him is playing like #%^$#!.
ThePebble19 Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Man, they look like poopie right now.
North Buffalo Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Finally the Sabres are skating... D still looks shaky.
tulax Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Why would you want to blame it on the goalie? The team in front of him is playing like #%^$#!. I was being sarcastic, I should have been more specific. I always thought that it was funny that a ton of blame for last year got put on Lalime's shoulders. The fact is this is just a different team when Miller is not in between the pipes. I attribute it to mindset, Miller is the security blanket.
PromoTheRobot Posted October 17, 2009 Report Posted October 17, 2009 Put Miller in.......we need a spark. Oh look, Buffalo underperforming while Lalime is in the net. Surprise, surprise. Spoken like someone who thinks letting a 5-0 breakaway score is the goalie's fault. Lalime is fine. Give some credit to a sniper like Kovulchuk. Now if the Sabres put something into their shots like Kovulchuk does, we'd have at least two goals by now. PTR
